HARGEISA, Somaliland (HornPost) Somaliland President Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi “Irro” is expected to travel to the United States in the coming days, with Israeli and Arab media closely following the planned visit and Somaliland’s diplomatic push for U.S. recognition.

Israeli outlets including KAN News and Israel Hayom have highlighted Somaliland’s efforts to strengthen ties with Washington, potential meetings with members of Congress, and the strategic importance of Berbera and the Red Sea.
