Despite facing challenges, Somali youth are working towards creating a more inclusive society for PWDS.
They are breaking barriers and advocating for the rights of PWDs.
Through their organization Organization Of Sign Language Interpreters in Somalia OSIS they are promoting inclusivity in media and advocating for the training of journalists in sign language. Overall, their story is an inspiring portrayal of the power of youth in creating a more inclusive society for all. It highlights the importance of advocacy and creating platforms for marginalized groups to be heard and represented.

We are very happy to kickstart our first workshop in Mogdishu. The workshop aims to unite female journalists in Mogadishu, providing them with a platform to share their experiences and collectively address the challenges they face regarding mental health.
