"When I made my first million dollars from music, I was so excited that I spent it quickly. The first thing I bought was a studio, so if all else failed, I could always write and produce records for other artists.

I concur with MT7 decision of respect for family and privacies. I have a lot of things to say about you and your wife but I have chosen to show maturity and sense of humanity that every family deserves its privacy.

UNMISS, Pan Aweil Development Agency launch PHCU construction in Aweil North County

The United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) have launched the construction of a Primary Health Care Unit (PHCU) in Ajak Wol Boma of Malual Centre Payam, Aweil North County on February 25, 2025.

The PHCU will have five rooms: a delivery ward, a maternity ward, an EPI department, a pharmacy, and a store. The project is funded by UNMISS and implemented by the Pan Aweil Development Agency.UNMISS, Pan Aweil Development Agency launch PHCU construction in Aweil North County

Sad News: Bride Commits Su***de in Nyamlel, Northern Bahr el Ghazal State

A young woman (bride) hung herself to death in the Referendum area of Nyamlel (Aweil West County) yesterday evening.

She locked herself in her own room while her husband was still at the market.

A young woman named Aluel Akol Nyinkuany, who got married last year, committed su***de without having any children.

The reason why she hung herself has not been discovered, as she did not explain or tell anyone.

She only visited her family yesterday afternoon and waved goodbye, but she did not inform them of what she was going to do.

The Minister of Finance and Planning has announced the commencement of civil servants' salary payments.

At an event in Juba today, Minister Marial Dongrin Ater did not specify how many months of salaries had been released.

He acknowledged the challenges the government faces in making payments and committed to ensuring that salaries are released on time.

“We commit to regularly release salaries every month, the situation we have been in is known to us, but as a government we have also been trying our best to ensure that the little we have is utilized to pay the public sector employees and to keep the government running and then very soon we will be out of the woods,” said Minister Ater.

The announcement comes as government employees have gone without pay for up to 10 months.

During a parliamentary briefing on Tuesday, the Minister of Finance pledged to settle the outstanding salaries within the next three months.

Juba City Council has rejected a proposal by water tanker drivers to adjust water prices to 4000 SSP per drum.

Several homes have gone without water for the last six days after the water tank vendors protested the imposition of the 2,500 pounds and 3,500 pounds per drum recently set by the city council.

Deputy Mayor Thiik Thiik Mayardit says the Water Tankers' Association is expected to meet the concerned parliamentary committee after Mayor Johnson Swaka rejected the proposed amendments.
