BREAKING NEWS: White Army Issues Grave Warning to Jonglei Governor Dr. Riek G*i Kok

The White Army, currently in control of Lou Nuer territories, has issued a direct and severe warning to the newly appointed Governor of Jonglei State, Dr. Riek G*i Kok. The group firmly stated that the Governor should not step foot in their territory, threatening death should he defy their stance.

In a particularly strong message from Akobo, local youth expressed deep resentment, citing unresolved pain from the 2013 conflict. They pointed out that Dr. Riek G*i Kok’s own brother was killed by the Kiir regime during that time a death which, according to the youth, Dr. Riek was fully aware of but has never publicly condemned or sought justice for.

"If Dr. Riek dares to come to Akobo," one youth leader said, "he should first bring back his brother who was killed with his knowledge, or prepare his own coffin. We do not forget betrayal."

They further advised him to carry out his duties from Bor Town or Juba, warning that any attempt to enter Lou Nuer land would be met with irreversible consequences.

In the wake of false and misleading allegations following the recent meeting between President Salva Kiir Mayardit and IGAD’s Peace Envoy to South Sudan, Raila Odinga, Presidential Press Secretary David Amuor Majur has strongly refuted Odinga’s claims regarding his request to meet First Vice President Dr. Riek Machar.

Odinga alleged that he was told to convene with Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni before meeting Dr. Machar, who remains under house arrest in connection with inciting violence in Nasirβ€”an area where the lawless White Army militia operates under unclear circumstances.

Antonov Bombers and Gunships Dispatched from Nasir and Longuchuk

This evening, Antonov bombers and gunships were dispatched from Nasir Airport following orders from SSPDF Chief of Defense Forces Paul Nang and Minister of Defense Hon. Chol Thon Balok. Just two days ago, the two officials announced their intent to seek revenge.

Reports indicate that UPDF forces have gathered in Baliet and are preparing to advance on foot toward Nasir. Meanwhile, Kiir's government has resumed nighttime airstrikes, deploying Antonovs and gunships to target Nasir, including areas populated by civilians and children.

It is currently unclear whether there are any casualties, but rescue efforts have been dispatched to the area. Please stay tuned for further updates.
