COURSE OFFER:
* Diploma in nursing - 3 Years program
* Diploma in midwifery - 3 Years program
* Bachelor degree in nursing and midwifery - 5 years program (four years plus one year of internship)
* Upgrading from diploma to bachelor degree - 3 years program

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ADMISSION:
1: A hand writing Application
2: Character certificate from the church authority (parish priest, pastor etc)
3: Copy of the National ID
4: Copy of the birth certificate
5: Copy of the Senior Secondary School certificate or it's equivalent certificate
6: Two passport photos size (half photos)

FOR UPGRADING STUDENTS:
* All the above certificate plus any relevant documents
* Certificate and transcript of the diploma nursing or diploma of midwifery
* Experience certificate from the field mentioned above

Madagascar coup leader declares himself President

Madagascar’s coup leader, Colonel Michael Randrianirina, says he is assuming the role of president after leading a military rebellion that ousted President Andry Rajoelina. Randrianirina told The Associated Press he expects to be sworn in soon, following an invitation from the country’s High Constitutional Court.

The uprising, driven by weeks of youth-led protests, escalated when Randrianirina’s elite Capsat unit joined demonstrators on Saturday, prompting Rajoelina to flee. Rajoelina, president since 2018, has denounced the takeover as an illegal coup.

Twic police arrest girl, Somali boyfriend over abortion—Mayardit 90.7 FM reports

Police in Wunrok Payam, Twic County, Warrap State, have arrested a 17-year-old primary eight schoolgirl and her Somali boyfriend in connection with the abortion of an eight-month-old unborn baby, whose body was later found dumped in a pit latrine.

Lieutenant Colonel Atem Deng Atem, the Inspector of Police in Wunrok, identified the man as Brahaam Habdin Ahmed, a 36-year-old Somali national. He said the suspect allegedly gave the girl undisclosed drugs three days ago to induce an abortion.

According to preliminary police investigations, the girl aborted the baby and dumped the body inside a pit latrine in Wunrok town. The remains were discovered around 9 p.m. on Tuesday after residents reported a foul smell coming from the latrine.

“On Sunday, the suspect gave the drugs to the girl. The girl drank the drugs, and that day she aborted a baby and dumped it inside the latrine. The owner of the house discovered a bad smell on Tuesday night, so he took a torch and saw the body of the baby inside the latrine. He immediately opened a case at the police station,” Atem said.

He said both suspects are being held in police custody for further investigation. Lt. Col. Atem added that this is the third reported case of an aborted baby being dumped in Twic County since the beginning of the year.

The owner of the house, Akueiwut Ajuong Mabuoc, described the incident as “horrific and inhuman.”

“I entered the toilet and smelled a bad odor. I came out and called people, saying there was something wrong, and then shone a torch inside. We saw the body of a baby with long dark hair. I went to report the case to the Inspector of Police and PA. They came, confirmed the body was inside, and locked the door until the body was removed this morning,” Mabuoc recounted.

Authorities have urged residents to report suspicious activities and seek lawful and safe medical assistance in similar situations.

Somali National Arrested Over Baby Dumping in Wunrok

Police in Wunrok Payam, Twic County, Warrap State, have arrested a 36-year-old Somali man and a 17-year-old schoolgirl in connection with the abortion and dumping of a baby inside a pit latrine.
Lieutenant Colonel Atem Deng Atem, Inspector of Police in Wunrok, confirmed that Brahaam Habdin Ahmed and the schoolgirl were detained after a resident discovered the baby’s body on Tuesday night.

Police in Nyamlel Arrest Zain Watchman After Shooting a 19-Year-Old Boy

A 19-year-old boy has been shot in the right foot in Aweil West County, Northern Bahr El Ghazal State

The victim, identified as Dut Atak Maroor, was reportedly shot by a Zain network watchman after allegedly attempting to steal from a Zain charging center.

Speaking to the media, a CID officer confirmed that the suspect has been arrested and that investigations are ongoing.

“The incident occurred around 2:00 a.m. The boy sustained a serious injury to his right leg and is currently receiving treatment at Nyamlel Hospital. The suspect remains in police custody as investigations continue,” the CID officer said.
