RESPONSE TO NUER COMMUNITY PRESS STATEMENT DEMANDING FOR THE RESIGNATION OF THE MINISTER FOR CABINET AFFAIRS DR. MARTIN ELIA LOMURO

The Nuer community should stop blackmailing those who stood with the government of president Salva Kiir tooth and nail during hard times. The Nuer community leaders which includes National ministers, and MPs shouldn't threaten president Salva Kiir for their selfish interest. These leaders have been siding with the SPLM IO leader Riek Machar Tent for all these times sabotaging the government internally using their tribal hoodwinks.

Leaders such as Peter Lam Both, James Hoth Mai, Kok Ruai and others are typical opportunists who want to change the narrative for their own benefit. They have been rebels within all this time. They have been the one fuelling the conflicts in Nuer counties with their kinsmen in the SPLM IO all along hence they should be treated as people who are just making noise.

Martin Elia LOMURO is a patriotic citizen who defended and protected the president and his government from all sorts of adversaries who were and are sabotaging him. He is a shrewd politician with very positive contributions compared to those who called themselves liberated. Martin Elia is going nowhere.

South Sudanese lose money in yet another online scam

Hundreds of South Sudanese have fallen victim to a new online scam after Tesco (TSC), a fraudulent investment scheme, abruptly disappeared.

The company, which claimed to offer lucrative returns to online investors, has shut down its website, leaving users unable to withdraw their funds. Its office along Tombura Road in Juba is now closed, and all contact numbers have been switched off.

This marks the third major online scam in recent years, following the KKR scheme in Wau and Silicone Valley in Juba, both of which collapsed in 2022.

Historical Narratives: Centuries of racial oppression, slavery, colonialism, and segregation have shaped attitudes and fears. These systems were often built on the false idea that one race was superior to another. These ideas were perpetuated through media, education, and culture, reinforcing negative stereotypes about Black people.
