A Call for Peace and Unity

:To the White Army and SPLA IO Forces,

We have been made aware of rumors regarding a potential attack on government forces in Walgak. It is good to understand that those stationed in Walgak are our sons and brothers. There are no Dinka forces in the area, and it is disheartening to witness the people of Akobo East contemplating conflict against their own.
I am urge all white Army to distance themselves and prioritize dialogue over violence. Let us remember that our strength lies in unity and understanding. Fighting amongst ourselves only deepens the divide and perpetuates suffering in our communities.
Let us strive for peace, and cooperation for a better future for all.
Let’s John Wiyual remain in his control area and allow the community in Akobo west to cultivate freely, our people's lives matter than political interests.

Sincerely,
Cde Thor Tungbor Jok
Media Commentator on Lou Nuer Affairs.

My people from Akobo West and Akobo East.

Enough is Enough, let us respect our dignity us one community, let us not be influenced by others with their own interests.

There’s nothing between Akoba West and Akoba East seen from creature, please let us respect our communities and also respect one another.

Please let us choose peace and control our abusing words. As young people, we have the power to build or destroy our communities through our words and actions. None of us is better than anyone else; we are all learning, growing, and facing different challenges in life.

Violence, hatred, and division may seem like solutions in moments of anger, but they only create more suffering and hold our communities back. Real strength is shown through unity, understanding, and respect for one another. Let us move away from ignorance, unhealthy competition, and the habit of pulling each other down. Instead of discouraging others when they make mistakes, let us correct them with respect and support them to become better. Instead of undermining one another, let celebrate each other’s progress and success.

Remember we will all die, so our abusing and bad words will never die.
Let us not encourage something that will never benefit us later or in the future.

Better to speak wisely and support unity, meanwhile you know that we are the backbone of our strong community and the nation.

Hopefully for better understanding us one family.

Best Regards:
Nyachuka Chot Riek
Former AYA Chairperson in Juba,
Akobo Youth Association.
