Emmanuel Jal Breaks His Silence On Blaming Dinka for South Sudan’s Problems.
Emmanuel Jal, the singer and activist, has broken his silence on people who blame Dinka for the problems in South Sudan.
He posted on his page. His post read:
“Guys, do not blame Dinkas for the problems in South Sudan. Ordinary Dinka people are suffering just like everyone else.
Our problem is not one tribe. Our country has been captured by a small group of powerful families, elites from different communities, and their allies who benefit from instability.
Peace threatens those who profit from war, division and the looting of our resources. Dr. Riek Machar has often been used as a scapegoat to keep communities divided while those benefiting from the chaos escape accountability.
Let us stop blaming tribes and ordinary people. Let us question the system, demand accountability from our leaders, and unite as South Sudanese.”
