Breaking News

A vehicle was ambushed on the Juba–Bor Road, leaving one person injured.

A vehicle belonging to Leek Mayen Alier came under attack today, Sunday, at around 3:32 PM on Jabor Bridge along the Juba–Bor Road.

According to reports, the driver, Leek, escaped the incident unharmed, along with the other passengers after the short one of the passengers.

However, one passenger sustained gunshot wounds to the leg after being struck by two bullets; one of the bullets also hit the vehicle’s engine.

The driver and passengers were rushed to Koor-Makuach Akech for safety.

Fortunately, the vehicle reached Mangalla, and the driver and the injured passenger have been taken to Bor.

The Juba–Bor Road has been plagued by periodic incidents of violence.
