Plant More Trees to Protect Our Environment and Address Climate Change.
In line with environmental protection efforts in South Sudan, one proud son of Warrap State, Kuac South, has taken a bold initiative to plant 3,000 trees this year in an effort to reduce the effects of climate change and protect the environment.
Among the trees planted are 1,350 mango trees, with seedlings prepared and started in early April 2026.
The government’s call to promote tree planting has been positively implemented by Garang Atomdit in Kualkou.
His commitment demonstrates to all of us the importance of planting more trees to help reduce climate change and protect our natural environment.
As international agencies and the government continue to announce tree plantation programs, we appeal to partners and relevant ministries to support this important initiative.
The Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Environment, and other stakeholders can join hands in supporting this tree-planting program for a greener and healthier future.
We also extend our request to well-wishers and community members to contribute their support toward the success of tree plantation programs across South Sudan.
