Dominic Juk and two others promoted in SSPDF were decorated with their new ranks.

Dominic Juk Chom, who was promoted to the rank of Major General in the SSPDF, was decorated with his new rank today.

Col. Deng Mabior Deng, who was also promoted to the rank of Brigadier General, and Lt. Col. Tong Alei Wol Alei to the rank of Colonel in the SSPDF, were also decorated with their new ranks, respectively.

The three men were promoted by the Commander in Chief of the South Sudan People's Defense Force (SSPDF) and the President of South Sudan, Salva Kiir Mayardit.

Juk currently serves in the office of the president as the Executive Director, but before his executive director assignment, he served in various positions in the Presidential Republican Guard.

Tiger Division is a critical professional military organization that oversees, protects, and ensures the safety of the president in South Sudan.

Sad News: Bride Commits Su***de in Nyamlel, Northern Bahr el Ghazal State

A young woman (bride) hung herself to death in the Referendum area of Nyamlel (Aweil West County) yesterday evening.

She locked herself in her own room while her husband was still at the market.

A young woman named Aluel Akol Nyinkuany, who got married last year, committed su***de without having any children.

The reason why she hung herself has not been discovered, as she did not explain or tell anyone.

She only visited her family yesterday afternoon and waved goodbye, but she did not inform them of what she was going to do.

The former Director General of the Internal Security Bureau and Former Governor of Warrap State, Gen. Akol Koor Kuc, appreciated and applauded President Salva Kiir for the opportunity and trust he bestowed upon him as DG of the ISB for 13 years.
