The Aweil East Football Association in Juba is not ready to play on Saturday December 2nd. The reasons are abrupt information when the management, players and the entire fans are not prepared adequately for the game. Final is a different game. You have to prepare a lot in all aspects.

Another reason is that, the final game collides with the National graduation 🎓 day in which the president of the Republic who's the chancellor of public will be the patron. A good number of Aweil East players, staff and the fans are graduating on the same day. So it's like the management of the BCL wants to spoil the final game by colliding with other big programs.

NOTE:

The game should be rescheduled or else we are considering withdrawing from BCL final once and for all.

Dear fellow students,

as it's remaining just a day for our elections, I'm hereby humbly reminding you that, the long awaited day is this Friday (15th Sept, 2023). I know you might be having other commitments for life or other circumstances which will hold you back but, l kindly request you to come and share me up. I strongly believed that “TOGETHER WE CAN”. I can’t do it alone without your votes.

However, do not forget to come along with your valid University ID or bank slip in case it’s not yet processed. Apparently, ensure you keep time because who registers first, votes first.

Finally, dear fellow students, it's with great dismay that some of my competitors' agents have resorted to serious de-campaigning by creating allegations, photo shopping pictures, removing my posters on the campuses and residences, creating fake facebook accounts with my names and use it to request for any assistances in the campaign process.

Perhaps, l stood my ground and promised to remain the same despite all these. As your upcoming Chairperson, I urge my campaign team, agents, any other person in my support, and the entire Students body to remain calm and focus on a peaceful Campaign by discussing not people but ideas relevant to our campaign. A campaign where we discuss challenges facing our students and how to address them through clear programs and strategic plans for serving our students in the next 12 months and beyond.

Thank you very much for your unwavering support to me always. Please, do me a favor by offering your precious time to attend the event and support me with votes. They will never be in vain.

NB: Every vote counts and voting is not only our right but our power.

MY HUMBLE APPEAL TO AWEIL NORTH COUNTY FOOTBALL MANAGEMENT & OTHER STAKEHOLDERS BASED IN JUBA.

Dear brothers and sisters, we are seeing unconfirmed rumours circulating on the social media regarding the replay/rematch of the final game. As a proud Citizen of Mading Aweil regardless of Geographical location and so on. I'm here by begging you not to accept that replay game. Not on the basis that we don't have rights but the fact that some of our fans took a wrong path by tarnishing our image and embarrassing us. All manner of things have been said against us online and offline, so I suggest we have to compromise and let Pibor be crowned the Champion of the tournament. To the views of others, it looks like we organized the tournament, invited outsiders and by any means, wanted to retain the trophy 🏆 to ourselves in whichever way possible. accepting to go for rematch and maybe by any chance, we win the trophy 🏆 then still be another insult and lowering of our dignity that most people respected.

Finally, to those who are still making fun of what happened, please, stop that. This is not the first nor the last occurrence in the world of sports. Such things can happen in a situation where those who are charged in giving justice to all turn to do the opposite role. Stop these online negative jokes.we should always engage on the things that unite us rather than those things which are divisive.

NB: to the negative forces out there, please don't take me out of the context. I'm just being honest here because it's within my right to have an opinion on our domestic affairs. It will not be a bad idea to differ with me or to judge this situation in your own way. I wrote this request because there's something which propelled me to do it.

Sons and daughters from NBGs complete their diploma studies at University of Juba.

The sons and daughters from Northern Bahr El Ghazal State have completed their diploma studies at University of Juba in the School of Natural Resources and Environmental Studies.

Kuany Tong Chan, one of the finalists who spoke to Aweil TV this morning disclosed that they were 24 admitted on 30th April, 2019 where only 15 managed to complete citing others dropped out due to tuition fees and other explainable problems.

Deans’ board of University of Juba nullifies recent increments of tuition fees.

The Deans’ board at UoJ chaired by Prof. John Akec has today advised the administration to reduce the tuition fees for private students beginning from 2nd year onwards by 50%. This comes following the recent increments which undisputedly shocked many people within and outside the country. Prof. Akech this evening took to his page to publicize the following deans’ board resolutions:

1. Cut the tuition fees for private students from year 2 and onwards by 50%.
2. Keep tuition fees for postgraduate programs, first year, general admission students and evenings classes.
3. Cut medical students’ tuition fees from $600 to $300 depending on Central Bank rates.
4. Developmental fees remain $63.

This move seems to have drawn back the eagerness and focus from Juba University students who were so much affected, frustrated, worried and with pessimism of dropping out. Among the most affected were the peasants’ and fallen heroes’ children who were eagerly seeking to study in their Country.

Last year on October 2022 Prof.John Akec posted on his page regarding the increments of tuition fees approved by Senate ranging from $400-$1,000 prompting many students to ask if the UoJ has been privatized privately by the government. Many saying unless we strike so that our voices are heard.
