The Chief Administrator Hon. Lokoli Ame Bullen , today received the Deputy governor and the Acting Governor of jongeli state in Pibor Town Kabarthe Centre, Greater Pibor Administrative Area (GPAA) with his cabinet and traditional leaders/Paramount Chiefs, the purpose is the peace initiative between communities of GPAA and Jonglei state.
In attendance were various organisations that have relevance to the Administrative Area I.e UNMISS , UN Agencies etc.
The government of GPAA and JONGLEI state have formed a formidable relationship geared to intensify peace and reinstall the coexistence of the two sisterly states and furthermore, ensure the safety and sustainable relationship among the two sisterly state communities through the kick-started peace initiatives.

The Chief Administrator was today welcomed by The Deputy governor of Jonglei Hon.jacob Akech, speaker of Jonglei , Hon. Minister of peace building ,Town mayor and other Jonglei State government officials at Bor Airport in jonglei state. The discussions the Chief Administrator engaged in was issues related with security between the two sisterly states and both communities of GPAA and Greater Jonglei. The deputy Governor of Jonglei reiterated their commitment to peace and peace initiatives that will be organised soon. He further expounded on the upcoming visit to pibor Administrative area on 16 Oct 2022 to discuss with authorities and communities of GPAA on matters regarding to peace process. The Chief Administrator is on an official visit to Juba the Capital of South Sudan to discuss with the South Sudan National Security authorities on matters regarding to Security situation in Greater Pibor Administrative Area.

Today I and my Deputy Chief Administrator Hon.John Abulla held a meeting with the Ministers where they presented the Hon.Chief Administrator with the Memos of their Ministries and onwards General briefing about the Cabinet.

Murle community leaders conference in Juba

The agenda of The conference ;

1. What can we do to the existing differences/ problems between the Murle and the Neighbouring communities? Can we as the community leaders intervene to bring the end to the problems b/w the murle and Neighbouring communities?

2. As community leaders how can we repair our strain/ deteriorating relationship between us and our Neighbouring communities.

The conference is aimed at coming up with the resolutions on Peace and cohesive trust between the Murle people as a whole and furthermore resettle our grievances with the Neighbouring communities . Peace Must prevail and peace is here to stay.

In attendance is The Chief Administrator of GPAA , Hon.Lokoli Ame Bullen , Deputy minister of ICT&PS Hon. Dr.Jacob maiju Korok , National MP's, state MP's and Murle intellectuals.
