13/11/22 Murle Armed youth Criminals has raided partet and took 125 herds of cattle never been recovered.
10/11/22 Murle Armed youth Criminals abducted 14 children in Muompiny between patuet and Duk padiet.
7/11/22 Murle Armed Youth Criminals killed 2 people between pajut and Duk payuel.
2/11/22 Murle Armed Youth Criminals killed 2 people in pabirol.
3/11/22 Murle Armed Youth Criminals abducted 5 children in pabirol.
1/11/22 Murle Armed Youth Criminals killed (1) old man in Juet under weckol payam Uror County and driven away 316 herds of cattle.
2/12/22 Murle Armed Youth Raided Tiam under weckol and went away with 3000 herds of cattle.
3/12/22 Murle Armed Youth raided tiam and took 500 herds of cattle.
24/12/22 Murle Armed Youth attack wunbil payam Nyirol County killed 1 person and going away with 200 herds of cattle, injured 2 people in the process.
25/12/22 they abducted 3 women and 13 years old boy during Christmas Eve between panyim and wunbil (4) total.
26/12/22 Murle Armed Criminals attack Motot payam and took 100 herds of cattle killed 1 man.
28/12/22 Murle Armed Criminals raided Pieri at 5 pm and took 380 herds of cattle and 29/12/22 Murle Armed youth raided pieri payam and took 43 herds of cattle.
29/12/22 also raided rupmakher under motot payam and took 100 herds of cattle.
30/12/22 they attack Guanchat under motot killed 1man at 7pm
31/12/22 raided pulchuol payam killing 2 people one on the spot another old man who met them on the way.
1 /1/23 killed 1 man in thoardiok at 2 :am and took 45 herds of cattle.
All these events are actions of Murle Armed Youth Criminals from Greater pibor Administrative Area not action of Jonglei white army but that never condemned by any single government official.
After these numberers attacks on people of Uror is unforgivable.
Nyirol has got it own and Akoba too
Their target is not SSPDF at all but the SSPDF stationed in Gumuruk town provoked them into reacting by overrunning the area after the government forces counter-attacked them before arriving in Gumuruk.
From the areas they origin , there are SSPDF barracks, if they target the government, they could have attacked them instead of walking long distance up to Gumuruk town. There's no violation of the agreement attached to the current inter-communal violence between the greater Jonglei and GPAA.
David Yau Yau, the former leader of Cobbra faction knows what he did to the government from 2010- 2012 where he mobilized the youth from the Murle to back him up against the government of the republic of South Sudan.
If there is someone to be labeled as rebels, Yau Yau is the right man to be referred to rather than calling other youth from greater Jonglei rebels.
I would like to encourage the government to engage the leaders of the two regions ( Jonglei and GPAA) in talk that might produce the durable solution to this recurring communal fighting.
