It is with deep sorrow and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mama Poni, whose real name was Mama Kiden.

Mama Poni, widely known for composing and performing the cover song “Nina be Jere Weni Sudan de belet ta Dinka,” passed away on the night of 25 June 2026 at her residence in Nyokuron East, along Lo’bulet down Disco Road, two blocks west of Mama Betty Hotel.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to her extended family, relatives, friends, and the entire community of Sindiru Buma, Lo’bonok Payam during this difficult time.

May her precious soul rest in eternal peace.

Three young girls were spotted allegedly threatening people with a pocket knife after the 16th of May Celebration.

The incident happened in Juba City today after the celebration of May 16.

According to Dr. Julia Duany who reported it with the evidence. It happened after the President left the Stadium for his house.

« The traffic became too much the roads were closed, while waiting some three girls came riding the Boarder, they were restless and wanted to go but It was impossible. While they were waiting for the Presidential guards to pass one of girls pulled out the knife and showing the act of cutting someone throats. It was disgusting and have no time to deal with those kids. This is how the gangsters had capture RSS, specially Juba city. God had mercy on us. » She posted.

For safety reasons , everyone nearby the three girls trembled and moved away. There was no detail provided regarding the girls’ location, and direction of travel.

BREAKING NEWS UPDATE

Following earlier reports of a CityLink Aviation aircraft crash between Yei County and Juba in Central Equatoria, authorities have now confirmed that the situation is more tragic than initially believed.

Rescue teams reaching the crash site have confirmed that all 13 passengers on board have died, with no survivors found.

The aircraft was discovered severely damaged in a remote area, making survival impossible. Emergency responders say there were no signs of life upon arrival.

Worry as Popular Video Producer Seen in Bad Condition in Juba

Juba, South Sudan – April 3, 2026

People in Juba are worried after photos showed Aleon Anton Fada, a famous video producer, walking in a bad condition in the city.

The pictures, taken by Juba Echo TV, show him walking barefoot and without a shirt on the streets of Juba. Many people on social media are asking what is happening to him.

Aleon Anton Fada became well known after winning the Best Video Producer award at the Junub Talent Awards in 2024.

Now, many people are calling for help and support for him. They are asking his family, friends, and leaders to check on him and make sure he is okay.

Up to now, there is no official information about his condition.
