In my capacity as a prominent son and the current leader of the Paleek community worldwide, I am honoured to reflect on the rich cultural heritage and the enduring spirit of our people. The Paleek community stands as a testament to resilience, unity, and the profound love we hold for our land and traditions. Through our values, beliefs, and artistic expressions, we embody a legacy that transcends generations, nurturing a sense of belonging and pride in our identity. This narrative not only honours our past but also inspires us to uphold the principles that guide our future.

These principles are intrinsically linked to the broader Bor community's foundational idea of sovereignty: "Bor - The Land and The People." This concept underscores the deep-rooted connection between the land and its inhabitants, emphasizing that our identity is intertwined with the very soil we inhabit and the community we build together.

The phrases provided express respect for the Paleek community and highlight cultural values, emphasizing the importance of listening, responding, and recognizing leadership within that context. Here’s a breakdown of what each phrase conveys:

"If he tells you a word, listen to him; it is a word from a Paleek man." This emphasizes the value of listening and respecting the words of a Paleek man, suggesting that his insights or teachings carry significance and wisdom.

"If he asks you a question, answer him; it is from a Paleek man." This indicates the importance of engagement and responsiveness in communication, particularly when interacting with someone from the Paleek community. It reflects the notion that their inquiries deserve thoughtful consideration.

"And if he demands leadership from you, give him a response befitting a Paleek man." This suggests that if a Paleek individual calls for leadership, one should respond in a way that aligns with the values and expectations of the Paleek culture, highlighting the importance of authority and respect in leadership roles.

"Our great Paleek has a long arm." This phrase metaphorically suggests that the Paleek community has far-reaching influence, power, or capability. The term "long arm" can imply that our impact extends beyond immediate circumstances, emphasizing our strength and significance.

Overall, these phrases reflect a deep respect for Paleek culture, a call for attentiveness in interactions, and recognition of the community's strength and leadership. They highlight a cultural framework where communication and respect are paramount.

Additionally, the significance of the Paleek community is embodied in its artists. "This Paleek nationalist and patriotic singer embodies the vision, values, beliefs, norms, principles, culture, tradition, and heritage of the Paleek community. He deserves absolute respect above all." Notably, the sentiment extends to the broader cultural expression within the community.

"If I were not born in Paleek or Anyidi, I wouldn’t have loved life." This statement reinforces the deep connection and love that individuals have for their heritage.

Moreover, "Paleekda, or Anyidida, embodies a deep sense of love, belonging, commitment, dedication, and resilience to the land and the people." This illustrates the emotional and cultural bonds that tie the community together.

Furthermore, all singers from Paleek are exceptional artists in the history of the Bor people. Monychol Anyang Monchol, also known as Bob Dizzy, stands out as a contemporary musician who has composed touching, inspiring, and prideful songs for Paleek (Anyidi) and Bor, beautifully integrating tradition with modern singing.
