Just an opinion regarding the above proposed wrestling and treat it as opinion.
I must express my opposition to the proposed wrestling match between Bahr El Ghazal Media Wrestling Team vs Bor County Media Wrestling Team. This framing is fundamentally at odds with our professional ethos. Our primary role as media personnel is universal—to inform, educate, and unite the public without bias. Organizing along regional or communal lines risks compromising our journalistic integrity and fosters a perception of parochial affiliations, which undermines the neutral and unifying mandate of the press. We must not be seen as media houses belonging to specific communities, but as a singular entity serving the nation.
Therefore, I propose an alternative that reinforces our unity while allowing for healthy competition. Instead of regional teams, let the existing South Sudan Media Wrestling Team divide all participants into two groups, for instance, Group A and Group B. This method would ensure an impartial and integrative process, symbolizing our collective identity. Colleagues could then join these groups through random selection without regard to their geographic or ethnic background.
