The scheduled meetings with the parties and stakeholders have been cancelled by SPLM-IG through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In a statement seen by Lich TV issued by SPLM IO Acting Chairman, stated that they as a movement will continue to pursue the cause of struggle.

“It is a Mission of African Union to SPLM-IG, Kiir, Bol and has got nothing to do with R-ARCSS and the resolution of the Ongoing violence. You cannot talk to one side.”

We shall on our own terms continue to pursue the path that shall usher the Country to a lasting peace, a just, united and prosperous Country.” He stressed

Insiders said this abrupt decision Uganda’s CDF informed President Kiir that it’s too early for Machar to talk to the world.

Foreign Interference in South Sudan’s Internal Affairs
It has come to our attention through credible sources that approximately 130 foreign mercenaries reportedly of Russian origin have arrived in South Sudan with the intent to deploy aerial drones for reconnaissance and potential targeting of civilian infrastructure in Tonja, Greater Fangak, and other territories under SPLM-IO administration.
This alarming development represents a blatant violation of South Sudan’s sovereignty and a dangerous escalation in the ongoing conflict. The use of foreign forces to intimidate, surveil, and potentially harm innocent civilians must be condemned in the strongest possible terms.
We call on the international community, regional bodies, and human rights organizations to take immediate notice of this situation and to hold accountable those who invite and collaborate with foreign entities to suppress the will of the people.
To those orchestrating such covert operations in the shadows: your actions are no longer hidden. South Sudan will not be sold nor surrendered to foreign interests. History will remember those who chose justice, and expose those who chose power at the cost of their people’s lives.
The protection of civilians is non-negotiable. South Sudan belongs to its citizens not to mercenaries, and not to dictators.
