: Public awareness of what is taking place in Unity State these days

Dear public, allow me to convey my thoughts to you regarding security concerns in Unity state, Bentiu. Many of you have already seen videos circulating on social media of cattle being raided from Twic County of Warrap state and some part of Gogrial East by militias believed to be from Unity state. This sparked outrage among neighboring states. Though cattle raiding is historical evidence that existed for decades, the current one is politically motivated and orchestrated by some politicians and generals in Juba who are causing chaos to distract attention from developmental activities launched by Honorable Riek Bim in Unity State.
It is a mere political calculation used by those elements in attempt to undermine Riek Bim leadership and convince appointing authority in Juba that Riek Bim is incompetent to control security situation in sensitive areas like Bentiu. We are all familiar with South Sudan political system that excels on chaos. On the same note, they have also incited violence against SSPDF members in their leaked documents we already have. Some of these groups were seen in different videos claiming to have joined SPLM-IO, as pressure to Juba.
Therefore, national government agencies have to take swift measures against these individuals as mitigation measures. Some generals within the organized forces are seen conducting meetings with those involved in the state affairs of destabilizing Bentiu and neighboring areas. Those politicians and generals are known by names and their places of work, of which they are being warned to avoid such heinous acts before we further discuss them publicly in detail in our next article.
This article is just alerting those people to cease their activities with immediate effect. If they want to be part of Unity State government, they must refrain from participating in dirty tricks and join using acceptable methods. They are son/ daughters of Unity State who have legal rights to lead people of Unity State but not through causing insecurity. Regardless of all those skirmishes in the state, Muolana Riek Bim is in full control.
