Dear Fans and Supporters,
I want to extend my heartfelt apologies for the events that unfolded at the concert at Bomah Hotel, Gulu Uganda last night. MGD Promotions and Events worked tirelessly to create a vibrant and unforgettable experience for all of you. However, we regret to inform you that the concert was ultimately organized by Akoi Akoi Promotions and Events.
We appreciate all the calls and messages we’ve received regarding the recent concert and the situation with Mawan De Mawan Management. We want to clarify our position and reassure you that we hold our fans and the dignity of MGD, as well as the pride of the Gulu community, in the highest regard.
During the concert, we faced challenges that we could not address in the moment. Our commitment to respecting our audience and ensuring a positive experience for everyone prevented us from reacting in ways that might have escalated the situation.
We are dedicated to maintaining the integrity of our brand and our relationship with you, our valued fans. Your support means the world to us, and we are determined to learn from this experience to ensure better events in the future.
