TWIC EAST COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION MEETS WITH SENIOR PRESIDENTIAL ENVOY

Juba, September 20, 2025 — The Senior Presidential Special Envoy, Hon. Adut Kiir, today received a delegation from the Twic East Community Association in Juba.

The delegation, led by Hon. Biar Mading Biar, Chairman of the Association, briefed the envoy on the situation in Twic East, citing challenges posed by both man-made and natural disasters.

Community representatives underscored the hardships faced by the people of Twic East and appealed for the envoy’s support in addressing the crisis.

In response, Hon. Adut Kiir reaffirmed her commitment to work closely with the association to develop sustainable solutions and support the affected communities.
