From the frontlines of liberation to rebuilding our nation, Gen. Paul Malong Awan has stood firm for his people.

✅ Joined the struggle before SPLM/A in 1983
✅ Led youth to Bilpam, Ethiopia to fight for freedom
✅ Defended Jebel Boma & protected civilians from Murahaleen
✅ Commanded SPLA forces across key towns during the war
✅ Helped secure South Sudan's path to independence

🛠️ As Governor of Northern Bahr el Ghazal (2008–2015):
• Maintained peace & stability in Aweil
• Built major roads and government ministries
• Constructed the SPLM House in Aweil (larger than Juba’s)
• Launched clean water projects & supported students in Juba

💪 As Chief of General Staff in Juba:
• Built Army HQ in Bilpam & secured Giyada Barracks
• Oversaw Blue House & Eagle House construction

🎖️ Today, he serves as Chairman of SSUF/A, still committed to peace, unity, and development.
