■ FOURTH(4th) EDITION
We are thrilled to announce the commencement of South Sudan Debaters contest 2024 on 3rd June 2024 and will be conducted in 8 states of South Sudan 🇸🇸 respectively under the theme
" Enhancing public speaking "
1. Eastern Equatoria state
● Nimule town
✔️ 8 secondary schools
● Magwi town
✔️ 8 secondary schools
● Torit
✔️ 16 secondary schools
NB:
□The champions of Nimule and magwi will face two schools that reach finale in torit for the state championships where the winner will be crowned as champions of Eastern Equatoria state
2. Jonglei State
● Bor town
✔️ 16 secondary schools
3. Lakes state
● Awerial county
✔️ 8 secondary schools
● Yirol town
✔️ 8 secondary schools
● Rumbek
✔️ 8 secondary schools
NB:
□ The champions of Awerial, Yirol town will face two schools that will reach final in Rumbek for state championships and whoever win will be crowned as champions of Lakes state
4. Western Bahr El Ghaza state
● Wau
✔️ 16 secondary schools
5. Warrap state
● Kuajok
✔️ 16 secondary schools
6. Northern Bahr El Ghaza state
● Aweil
✔️ 16 secondary schools
7. Western Equatoria State
● Yambio
✔️ 16 secondary schools
8. Central Equatoria State
● Terekeka
✔️ 8 secondary schools
● Yei town
✔️ 8 secondary schools
● Juba
✔️ 64 secondary schools
□ The champions of Terekeka and Yei will face two schools that reach finale in Juba for state championships and whoever win will be crowned as the champions of Central Equatoria state
NB:
■ 216 secondary schools from 8 states will participate
■ 8 state champions will participate in National Debaters championships in Juba and whoever win will be crowned as South Sudan champions and will participate in East Africa world debate championships.
