President Kiir's Son, Maj. Gen. Atem Salva, Appointed Commander of Tiger Division (Republican/Presidential Guard), sparking resentment from public and raising serious questions and allegations on Kiir’s adoption of Uganda’s style of dictatorial rule in South Sudan.

President Kiir's son, who has facial resemblance with sister Adut Salva Kiir, Maj. Gen. Atem Salva Kiir Mayardit, has been appointed new Commander of the Presidential guard (Tiger Division), replacing Gen. Deng Madhang,barely days after his promotion in the military.

Experts have warned that if these claims are verified, it would mark the beginning of the end for Salva Kiir's rule, as the people of South Sudan would never accept to subscribe to Uganda's authoritarian style of governance, which would only serve to prolong their agony through dysfunctional judiciary, parliament and executive (Presidency).

Health workers highlighted several challenges affecting service delivery, including delayed salaries and inadequate incentives, shortages of essential medicines and medical supplies, poor infrastructure, limited transportation and ambulances for referrals, as well as shortages of skilled and specialized personnel.

There are circulating reports that South Sudanese in Kenya haven't opened their daily businesses today as Kenyan street boys and police are expected to charge at them and extort their business assets.

While in South Sudan all the foreigners have opened their business as usual and no govt directives affecting their business operations.
