In commemoration of International Youth Day 2025, Stanbic Bank South Sudan says the bank presented a USD 4,500 support cheque to Scenius Hub for the Banat Initiative for Leadership & Digital Development (BiLDD) Alumni Office.

The Alumni Office coordinates cohorts for the BANAT Initiative for Learning and Digital Development, a program created by the National Communication Authority - NCA, dedicated to delivering digital literacy training for young women and girls in South Sudan.

Present at the handover were Dr. Margaret Labanya – Head of Corporate, NCA; Alam Chaat – Head of Diversified Sector, Stanbic Bank; Nelson Kwaje – Managing Director, Digital Rights Frontlines; Poni Henry – Program Coordinator, BiLDD Program; and Aluet Garang – Lead Alumni and Digital literacy trainer, BiLDD Cohort 2 Graduate.

GoGirls ICT Initiative will conduct a five-day training and mentorship program on the Internet of Things (IoT) for 25 Information Technology (IT) and Computer Science students from the GDSC University of Juba. The organization announced its collaboration with UniPod South Sudan for the IoT lab.

"We are collaborating with UniPod South Sudan for the IoT lab," stated GoGirls ICT. The program is part of the Access to skills and Knowledge Network ASKnet, supported by _r0g / agency for open culture and critical transformation, aiming to enhance digital skills among students in South Sudan.
