๐๐ฎ๐๐โ๐๐ฉ๐ซ๐ข๐ฅ 10th, 2026โโHis Excellency, Col. โPSCโDaniel Makuei Thieyear, Chief Administrator of Ruweng Administrative Area, has urged the newly appointed officials to commit themselves and work with dignity in their duties. He made these remarks during the swearing-in ceremony of the newly appointed officials.
The officials who were sworn in include: Hon. Simon Wuor Miaper, Deputy Chief Administrator; Hon. Thomas Mijok Miabek, Security Advisor; Hon. Carbino Mum Luke, Head Department of Finance and Economic Planning; Hon. Peter Monyluak Mijok, Jau County Commissioner; and Hon. Simon Monytou Arop, Jamjang County Commissioner.
Speaking during the occasion, Hon. Mum Luke, Head Department of Finance and Economic Planning, emphasized effective management of resources, transparency, and accountability. He also reaffirmed the ministryโs focus to resource mobilization to streamline and boost the economy. He vowed to improve budgeting to enhance financial audits and ensure timely payment of civil servant allowances.
In his address, Daniel Makuei called on politicians to unite and eliminate negative grouping, citing the importance of unity to overcome current challengesโ Our Unity means our strength โ Makuei said.
His Excellency Thieyear also echoed the presidentโs call for peace and reconciliation, urging the people of Ruweng to engage in dialogue among themselves.
Additionally, Daniel directed the officials to develop a clear strategic development framework, a vision that will drive change and advance the well-being of the people to ensure prosperity in Ruweng Administrative Area.
