Radio Maria Takes Faith, Hope and Evangelization Message to Bishop Mazzoldi Memorial Nursery and Primary School in Buluk.

Radio Maria visited Bishop Mazzoldi Memorial Nursery and Primary School in Buluk as part of its Radio Maria Awareness and Mariathon Fundraising Campaign, aimed at creating awareness about the mission of Radio Maria and mobilizing support for its evangelization work.
The Radio Maria visiting team, comprising four volunteers and headed by Louis Kenyi Jino, Assistant Promoter, was warmly welcomed by the school administration, teachers and pupils.
Speaking on behalf of the school administration, the Deputy Head Teacher welcomed the Radio Maria team and thanked them for choosing to visit the school. He appreciated Radio Maria's continued presence and commitment to supporting communities through its evangelization mission.
In his remarks, Assistant Promoter Louis Kenyi Jino thanked the school administration, teachers and pupils for the warm welcome. He explained that Radio Maria is not just a radio station, but a voice of faith, hope and encouragement.
He said Radio Maria brings the Word of God into homes, supports families, comforts the sick, and inspires young people to live according to good values while promoting love, unity and care for one another.
He further explained that Radio Maria depends entirely on God's providence and the generosity of people of faith. Unlike commercial radio stations, Radio Maria does not depend on commercial advertisements but relies on prayers, voluntary contributions and the generosity of its listeners and supporters.
Explaining the meaning of Mariathon, he said it means “running with Mother Mary” and is a special period of prayer, sacrifice and generosity in support of Radio Maria's evangelization mission.
He invited the school administration, teachers, pupils and people of goodwill to support the mission of Radio Maria through prayer, giving according to their ability, and becoming ambassadors of Radio Maria.
The Assistant Promoter informed the school that the Radio Maria team would return on 21 August 2026 to collect the Mariathon donation envelopes that were distributed. He encouraged everyone not to be afraid of the size of the envelope, emphasizing that each person should give according to what they have and according to their ability.
He also clarified that those who did not receive envelopes should not worry, as there will be an opportunity on the day of collection for both those with envelopes and those without envelopes to participate in the fundraising campaign and give whatever they can.
The pupils were encouraged to listen to their parents and teachers and to learn the spirit of giving and sharing with others, as they are the leaders and future of tomorrow.
He further announced that Radio Maria would return to the school in the coming days to conduct a formation session for the establishment of a Radio Maria Club at Bishop Mazzoldi Memorial Nursery and Primary School.
On his part, the Head of Resource Mobilization at Bishop Mazzoldi Memorial Nursery and Primary School thanked Radio Maria for its continued presence and support, noting that Radio Maria has consistently been available whenever important events take place at the school.
He encouraged both pupils and teachers to continue supporting Radio Maria so that the station can remain operational and continue its mission of evangelization.
In his concluding remarks, the Deputy Head Teacher once again thanked the Radio Maria visiting team for coming to the school and for distributing the Mariathon donation envelopes to the pupils.
He warmly welcomed the proposal to establish a Radio Maria Club at the school and pledged the school's continued support for the evangelization mission of Radio Maria.
The visit concluded with the distribution of Mariathon donation envelopes to pupils in their respective classes, carried out by the Radio Maria team together with the school's Head of Mobilization.
The visit was an important opportunity to strengthen the partnership between Radio Maria and the school community while encouraging pupils, teachers and parents to participate in the mission of spreading the Gospel through prayer, generosity and active support.
