Update
We are excited to share this update on the progress of our internship program.

As the first cohort wraps up their induction, we want to take a moment to acknowledge their hard work and dedication. It has been inspiring to see their growth and engagement over the past few weeks.

For those in our second cohort, we thank you for your patience and enthusiasm. Please stay tuned for further information, as we will be reaching out soon with details regarding your upcoming induction.

Important Update

First and foremost, we sincerely appreciate your patience since the beginning of the WYLP early this year. The Steering Committee has finally completed its work. As you know, there were more than 400 of you who were shortlisted and attended interviews. We are glad that most of you did outstandingly well. However, at the starting point, 200 interns will be placed to work stations in two phases based on one's specialization.

The selection process was transparently done with a few criteria in mind.
1. The process started with the collection of applications, assessment of academic qualifications, written assessment, and oral interviews
2. Those who passed the interviews were pronounced successful
3. The selection process was based on three equally important guidelines : first, gender and regional presentation were highly regarded. Females are allocated 60% of the total number; second, selection of the first and second cohorts was later based on merit.

The first cohort will be notified via text message or phone call starting today. If not notified, then you are likely to be in the subsequent cohort.

Please note that nobody will be left out. It is only how the whole is organized since the beginning.
