Kiir Must Stay

Kiir must stay
Since freedom came,
Hunger never left.
The flags rose,
But hope fell.

Kiir must stay
Soldiers protect,
But are never paid.
They die in uniform,
And live in silence.

Kiir must stay
Ministers are millionaires,
Bowl of meal solution.
The nation bleeds,
But no one brings a bandage.

Kiir must stay
Because corruption wears suits,
And truth wears fear.
Peace became business,
And pain became normal.

Kiir must stay
Hospitals are empty,
Pockets are full.
Leaders fly abroad,
While citizens walk barefoot.

Kiir must stay
To remind us all,
Hospitals don't need medicine.
Soldiers remain unprotected,
Freedom modern day illusion.

Kiir must stay
Until we learn,
That silence is not peace,
And tears are not rain.

Kiir must stay
So that history may say,
We once had a nation,
That forgot its own soldiers.

Kiir must stay.

Governor of Warrap State Meets Humanitarian Affairs Minister on Flood Response and Emergency Support

H.E. Amb. Bol Wek Agoth, Governor of Warrap State, met with Hon. Albino Akol Atak, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, to brief him on his recent tour across the state and discuss ongoing flood response and emergency support.

Governor Agoth reported calm across Warrap following peace and reconciliation efforts but raised concerns about displaced persons lacking basic necessities, including shelter, medicine, and clean water. He also emphasized the need for trauma healing and psychosocial support.

Calling for a comprehensive response, the Governor highlighted the plight of returnees from Kenya and Sudan and stressed road construction as his top development priority to support access, markets, and services.

Minister Atak, who had visited Warrap with the governor, acknowledged the challenges and pledged humanitarian support, starting with the most affected counties like Tonj East and Tonj South.

Both leaders praised humanitarian partners such as UNMISS, UNDP and the Kong Koc consortium for visible infrastructure improvements and agreed on the need to build resilience through agriculture, commercialization of livestock, and better land use.TULI FM MEDIA
