Upper Nile TV – Special Report

Upcoming Fundraising Event to Support Fangak Flood Survivors

The people of Fangak, Upper Nile, have once again faced immense hardship following devastating floods that have swept through the region, leaving thousands displaced and struggling to survive. As part of our commitment to highlighting the challenges facing communities across South Sudan, Upper Nile TV brings attention to an upcoming fundraising event aimed at helping these affected families rebuild their lives.

Scheduled for 12th September 2025 at Nyakuron Cultural Center – Main Hall, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, the event, themed “Revive Fangak: Helping Flood Survivors Rebuild,” seeks to mobilize resources, support, and solidarity from people across the country and the international community.

Representatives from the Fangak Youth Union held a gathering in Juba, emphasizing the urgency of the situation and the importance of collective action. They called on everyone government institutions, NGOs, businesses, and concerned citizens to participate in restoring hope to the flood-affected population.

Upper Nile TV urges all South Sudanese to stand together, contribute generously, and help Fangak rise from the devastation brought by these floods.
