Today 18th September 2026.

south Sudan wrestling federation president Mr Samuel Busong Gabriel, our secretary General Hon Kuol Bol Ayom visited our giant wrestler Alijou Nhial Lonh Amer in Juba Medical Complex.

He was admitted yesterday in critical condition but we thank God for improvement of today.

We continue praying for the almighty God to continue provide healing upon our Wrestler Alijou Nhial.

To colleagues, and friends let's keep praying for him .so that will go back to his fit and wrestle again..🙏🙏

Presidential Decree No. 01/2005

Appointments Following the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA)

In exercise of the powers vested in me as Chairman of the SPLM/A, and in accordance with the provisions of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement signed between the SPLM/A and the Government of Sudan, I hereby issue the following decree on the appointment of caretaker governors for the states of Southern Sudan:

1.Commander Salva Kiir Mayardit – Vice President.

2.Dr. Riek Machar Teny – Governor, Western Equatoria State.

3.Comrade James Wani Igga – Governor, Upper Nile State (Malakal).

4.Gen. Daniel Awet Akot – Governor, Eastern Equatoria State.

5.Gen. Kuol Manyang Juuk – Governor, Northern Bahr el Ghazal State (Aweil).

6.Comrade Pagan Amum Okiech – Governor, Lakes State (Rumbek).

7.Hon. Deng Alor Kuol – Governor, Jonglei State.

8.Gen. John Kong Nyuon – Governor, Warrap State.

9.Dr. Lam Akol Ajawin – Governor, Western Bahr el Ghazal State (Wau).

10. Gen. Clement Wani Konga – Governor, Central Equatoria State (Juba).

11. Dr. Theophilus Ochang Loti – Governor, Unity State (Bentiu).

Furthermore, I hereby appoint the following comrades as Senior Presidential Advisors for the Government of Southern Sudan:
• Comrade Lual Diing Wol
• Comrade Samuel Abu John
• Comrade Nhial Deng Nhial

This decree takes effect immediately, pending my swearing-in as the First Vice President of the Republic of the Sudan and the President of the Government of Southern Sudan on the 9th of July, 2005.

Ajang Garang hails from Pariak clan of Abii community in Pariak West Boma of Chuei-Keer payam of Bor County.

Ajang Garang was the top wrestler of Bor County during 2006-2014. He defeated many wrestlers in Bor County, Awerial, Greater Yirol , Twic-East, and Terekeka County.

Ajang Garang was a fearless wrestler who had the audacity to face any wrestler that came his way.

Ajang Garang is also called Mapuordit according to his ox valor.
