Málaga 🇪🇸 last November was lovely. Not warm enough to swim but lovely enough to walk by the beach, to try new dishes, visit the Alcazaba and Gibralfaro Castle and catch beautiful sunsets ✨️

A year later, it kinda feels like a dream because Spain was a forbidden country for Kosovo passports until last year even if in possession of a Schengen visa.

Crazy, huh?

"I could live here!" - I told myself this as soon as the sun came out following a rainy morning. But I have told myself this so often while visiting cities across the world.

But Porto feels peaceful! It feels like it accepts everyone. I felt at ease walking around and wandering on my own. I loved the vibes, loved the colorful buildings.

There is something about colorful places that brings me so much peace. I'm not sure if it is because of the lack of colors in Prishtina or Gjilan, my hometown, or simply because colors bring life to places.

What's your favorite place where you've told yourself you could live?

P.S. I took this guided tour through sponsorship of as a creator community member of

As I prepare for my next trip to one of the Spain's neighbors, Portugal, i want to post from my trip there last year. Yes, 2024. I know! Life happened and I got busy and couldn't post. Also, often I feel like - what's the point?

Anyways, here are a few shots from Madrid - the royal palace, some arts installments, beautiful sunsets, a few dishes I had, a Christmas market, and leaving a mark from Kosovo in one of the places.

Do you know Spain hasn't recognized Kosovo yet? Did you know that until last year, even after we got the Schengen visa liberalization, Kosovo passport holders still couldn't (legally) travel there?

Crazy, yeah?

Some random fall shots from one of my favorite parts in Prishtina - Tokbahçe Park 🤗

Smaller than Gërmia, way smaller, but I love going there in any season, actually. But fall hits differently - with all those beautiful colors, the fallen leaves 🍂 🍃 🤗

Some shots are from other parts of town - the Mother Teresa Boulevard, and the one near NewBorn, while the shot with me on it is a lovely memory from last year's strolls with 💛

In June, I did a press trip in the organized by and guided by .ibrahimi

It was a great way to explore our national park of Accursed Mountains and climb the highest peak in Kosovo, Gjeravica Peak.

Did you know Kosovo passport holders couldn't travel to Spain (legally) until last year even if they had a Schengen visa? The visa would specify -ES so, yeah, I didn't visit until last November.

This was a girl's trip to also celebrate birthday with

It feels like months ago that I spent two nights in the Sharri National Mountains in an integrated security training (no pics from that as it was a closed group to maintain the privacy and confidentiality of participants)

The views were amazing and about the right time to take some rest and reflect on both personal and professional life. No solutions found 🫣 for either of them. As that saying goes, I thought a lot and I hate it. Not my life. I hate thinking 😛

Anyways, swipe for the views (and me 🌟😛)

Last year I organized a hiking trip for members of the FB and a small number joined 🤗

We started at the entrance of Gërmia Park all the way to .prishtina where we enjoyed a delicious lunch and visited the bears (and the lion who used to be there).

The fall colors were amazing and we enjoyed the hiking at our own pace (we're not hikers so we took it slowly) 😀

Would you be willing to do it another time this October?
