⛔️ Two prominent officers in Assad's intelligence services arrested

Special sources confirmed to Zaman AlWasl the arrest of Brigadier General Majed Ahmed Al-Daras, a senior officer in Air Force Intelligence, and Colonel Ahmed Saeed Al-Dalati, a military security officer. They were arrested in the town of Hala in the Al-Qutayfah area in the Damascus countryside. The Al-Qutayfah Security Unit conducted the tracking and arrest.
Zaman Al-Wasl calls on anyone with information or documented complaints against the two officers to contact the official authorities in Al-Qutayfah.
Al-Daras is one of the names implicated early on in carrying out orders to kill civilians. His name was mentioned in documented testimonies about a massacre committed in Daraa Governorate in April 2011, at the beginning of the peaceful uprising in Syria.

⛔️ Journalist denies rumor of kidnapping of family from who appeared on Al-Arabi TV, confirms their arrival in Jaramana


Journalist Nour Golan confirmed that the family who appeared on Al-Arabi TV later arrived with their relatives in Jaramana, a suburb of Damascus, and are in good condition.

Golan said via his personal account that he communicated directly with the family members, who requested respect for their privacy and categorically denied the rumors circulating about their kidnapping.

He added that he initiated contact with the family from a reliable human rights organization to document what happened to them and obtain their full testimony. He indicated that any other human rights organization could contact him directly to obtain a means of communication with the family.

It is worth noting that the family appeared in a live broadcast while covering developments in the forced displacement from Suwayda Governorate, and some social media users circulated scenes from the meeting, claiming that they had been kidnapped.
