Free Broiler Production Workshop by Ministry of Agriculture

Recently, Ubombo Sugar Managing Director Mr. Muzi B. Siyaya presented a recognition award to Enock Msibi, Maintenance Foreman at the Ubombo Sugar Factory, for his outstanding contribution to the company.

Mr. Msibi was celebrated for his innovative thinking and dedication, which led to a major cost-saving initiative. By executing a key factory project in-house, he helped Ubombo Sugar save nearly E1 million—demonstrating his commitment to efficiency and excellence.

Ubombo Sugar Donates E60,000 to Support Sisekelo High Students Representing Africa in UK Debate Championship

Ubombo Sugar has generously donated E60,000.00 to support six exceptional students from Sisekelo High School who will be traveling to the United Kingdom to compete in the prestigious International Competition for Young Debaters (ICYD).

The competition is scheduled to take place on May 3rd, 2025 at the historic Cambridge Union. These talented young debaters have proudly earned their place on the global stage and will be representing Africa in this renowned international event.

Congratulations to the students and heartfelt thanks to Ubombo Sugar for investing in the future of youth and education!

On Tuesday 22 April 2025, a devastating storm struck Mbutfu, destroying a local clinic, a skills development centre, and the homes of at least 10 families. They have lost everything.

We’re calling on individuals, farmers, businesses, and corporates to come alongside us and donate:
