*Durban Film Festival attendance🎥🎬🇿🇦*
Recently the ENFTVA Committee🎥🎬🇸🇿 attended the 44th International Durban Film Festival in South Africa. The main reason for this trip was to connect with other International Filmmakers over the world 🌍 and see what partnerships we can forge with them so as to provide you, our members opportunities to grow in the International Filmmaking market and to grow our local Filmmaking market here in Eswatini 🇸🇿.
The trip was a success🙂🎥🎬. We were able to partner with several professional actors and production companies… In which some will come into the country for acting workshops and shooting of local movies soon, if all goes well logistically this September🤞🏿🙂🇸🇿.
*Shooting Of “Fake Love” Movie 🎥 🎬🇸🇿🇿🇦 in partnership with Shelembe Aphiwe Productions”*
A partnership between ENFTVA🇸🇿🎥🎬 with Shelembe Productions 🎥🎬🇿🇦… Will see an Inter-cultural movie(Swazi Culture and South African culturised movie) shot in SA and In Swaziland very soon within the year… Local Actors/Actresses and South African Actors/Actresses will get to work with one another and be cast for this upcoming movie… As we speak the Script📝 is being finalized for previewing🙂.
*Regional Productions to be Shot🇸🇿🎥🎬*
Currently as ENFTVA we are working at securing funding so we can visit representative towns within all the four regions to empower and train filmmakers. We will be taking “a hands on practical approach” where we will train Actors/Actresses as well people who work behind the scenes(Camera operators, wardrobe, Directors, Continuity Directors, Make Up specialists etc.) on shooting a movie…Each region will have its own movie(Product) completed after the regional shootings…Showcasing of Previous movies/products will be shown also within the four regions as well🙂.
*🎥🎬🇸🇿Seskhona 2023 Film Festival🎥🎬🇸🇿*
One of the main reasons we travelled to the Durban Film Festival was to learn and see the standards met when hosting a Film Festival of note… There is a lot we have learned and yet to implement in this year’s Seskhona Film Festival🎥🎬🇸🇿. It will be Bigger and better than the one we last hosted. A lot of work is being done behind the scenes by the Committee to make sure everything goes well on the day. The projected days for the film Festival. Will be in the month Of October 2023… We are doing all we can as a collective to meet our deadlines😬.
*🎥🎬🇸🇿ENfTVA Subscriptions🎥🎬🇸🇿*
As stated earlier.. July was our promotional month where Subscription to ENFTVA was E50.00… Now that the month has passed all subscriptions are E100.00…Paying the subscriptions first and foremost implies you are serious and dedicated as a filmmaker in better understanding your craft.. And secondly, helps us carry out errands that may be of benefit to you as a member. Lastly it allows you as a member to voting when it comes to placing Committee members in power.

Lastly, As we highlighted a few months ago.. The Current ENFTVA Interim Committee is in its final year of operation this year. As a result a new Committee has to be voted in🗳️🎥🎬🇸🇿. In order for this process to take place we need to have a sufficient number of *ENFTVA Subscribed members* to vote. So far the voting has been stalled until we have at least 50 subscribed members to carry out the process.
