Today, the Taiwan Africa Vegetable Initiative (TAVI II) hosted a special Schools Garden Tools Handover Ceremony at Mphophoma, Malkerns.

Gardening tools were officially handed over to the Ministry of Education and Training (MoET), a powerful step towards promoting school gardens, improving nutrition, and empowering the next generation with hands-on agricultural skills.

The event brought together leaders from the World Vegetable Center, Taiwan Embassy, Ministry of Agriculture, and Ministry of Education & Training in a shared vision of sustainability and education.

Eswatini’s livestock farmers are getting a major boost! With support from the EU and ITC, the Ministry of Agriculture has unveiled E3.1 million worth of hay-making equipment to tackle feed shortages and reduce livestock deaths during dry seasons.

💬 “We can now produce, store, and even sell hay,” says farmer Celucoli Ndlangamnadla.
