We kicked off the weekend with Nkwene Sundowns edging Lozitha Spurs to climb top of the standings, and they weren’t alone in making moves. Red Rhinos joined them in the winners’ circle, while All Nations stumbled and lost ground.

At the other end of the table, Viva Stumbo XI and Ludzeludze Killers continue to search for that elusive first win. Madlenya and Pigg’s Peak Professionals meanwhile have muscled their way into the top four, proving just how quickly things can change in this league.

Five matchweeks in, the race for promotion is already fierce and every point feels heavier than gold.

Royal Leopard have been here before. They’ve clawed back from tougher stretches, rewritten narratives, and reminded us why the name Ingwe still commands fear and respect. But right now, after a string of un-Leopard-like results, they find themselves on unfamiliar ground; not chasing titles, but chasing rhythm.

This isn’t about panic. It’s about perspective. A reminder that even the fiercest hunters need to rediscover their hunger.

Elsewhere, the defending champs Nsingizini Hotspurs, Ezulwini United, and Green Mamba all edged 1–0 wins, while Manzini Sea Birds turned on the style to thrash Manzini Wanderers 4–0.

At Mavuso, it was honours even as Moneni Pirates and Rangers played out a 1–1 draw, with league top scorer Hleliso Gamedze once again on target.
