🎙️This week, we proudly celebrate the remarkable legacy of an absolute EBIS legend, Nomvula Motsa.
Blessed with a smooth, silky voice that graced our airwaves for decades, Nomvula was truly in a class of her own. An eloquent, polished and highly professional broadcaster, she captured the hearts of listeners across Eswatini.
Her iconic programmes, Steam Boat Jazz and African & Caribbean Sounds, became favourites among music lovers. Through her impeccable presentation style, Nomvula had a unique gift of making every song come alive, leaving listeners eagerly anticipating each broadcast.
Beyond the microphone, she was a master producer of programmes and documentaries. A perfectionist in every sense, Nomvula believed that every second on air mattered, consistently delivering content of the highest standard.
Her outstanding leadership and dedication saw her rise to become Head of Programmes. She later joined the University of Eswatini’s Journalism and Mass Communication Department, where she played a pivotal role in nurturing and mentoring the next generation of broadcasters.
This week, we pay tribute to a true broadcasting icon whose footprints will continue to inspire generations to come.
