Meet Paula Anesh Mamba: Eswatini’s Rising Star in Modeling and Beyond

Paula Anesh Mamba, affectionately known as Yinhle, is a young and vibrant talent making her mark in Eswatini’s modeling scene. At just 18, soon to be 19, Paula is already capturing hearts and imaginations with her unique blend of beauty, confidence, and ambition.

Living in Mbekelweni with her loving granny and sister, Paula describes herself as a free-spirited, loud, and bubbly individual who is deeply goal-oriented. “I strive to turn my goals into reality,” she shares, reflecting a maturity beyond her years. Modeling has always been more than a dream for Paula—it’s where her passion truly lies.

From a young age, Paula knew she was unique and beautiful, and that belief fueled her desire to step into the modeling world. “I’ve always wanted to be a model because I knew I was different in a good way,” she says. This confidence and self-awareness have helped her carve out a place for herself, not only as a model but also as a strong communicator capable of working with diverse brands and photographers to bring creative visions to life.

Paula recently joined Bekezela Casting Agency, a leading talent agency in Eswatini, where she aims to expand her opportunities and grow professionally. This step reflects her commitment to building a successful modeling career and connecting with more industry professionals.

Her modeling journey has already seen exciting milestones. Paula has participated in two major gigs with The Runway Revolution—first in 2024 and again on March 29, 2025. These experiences have only strengthened her resolve to pursue greater heights. “From these gigs, I know I can do much more great things through modeling,” she says.

Paula’s inspiration comes from accomplished figures like Diana Eneje, whose uniqueness and success motivate her. “I’ve learned from her never to give up and not to let anyone discourage you, because we are all different and unique in our own ways,” Paula explains.

While still early in her career, Paula prides herself on her creativity and willingness to try new things. Though she hasn’t yet traveled internationally for her career, she is eager for the opportunities that exposure and publicity can bring, hoping to work with many companies and agencies across the globe.

Like any young person, Paula faces challenges. She admits that public speaking makes her nervous due to her shy nature, but she is determined to overcome this fear. “My greatest weakness is failing, but I always look for ways to overcome it,” she says with a determined smile.

Modeling is just one of Paula’s dreams. She also aspires to become a nurse, driven by a genuine passion for helping others. Growing up, she enjoyed assisting her mother and aunt with chores, a habit that blossomed into a desire to support people in meeting their needs and finding solutions.

At just 22 years old, Melusi Maziya, better known by his stage name BirthMaak Alacrity, is carving a name for himself in the world of hip hop.
