The Eswatini Television Authority (ESTVA) is a broadcaster formed by an act of parliament in 1983. It was known as the Eswatini Television Broadcasting Corporation prior to its establishment by Act of Parliament (STBC). This marked the arrival of television in Swaziland. The Kingdom of Eswatini government took over a privately held corporation that was part of an electronic conglomerate located in the United Kingdom.
