The Queen Who Made the British Empire Admit Defeat⁉️

Queen Nanny of the Maroons was a brilliant military genius who completely shattered the British army in Jamaica during the First Maroon War (1728–1740).

In the early 1700s, Nanny was the legendary leader of the Windward Maroons—a community of self-emancipated, formerly enslaved Africans who escaped the brutal plantations and established an independent fortress deep in the Blue Mountains of Jamaica.🇯🇲

The British military had the massive advantage in guns, money, and soldiers. But Nanny had something better: the mountains and absolute tactical brilliance.

Her warriors used the steep, rocky terrain to ambush marching British platoons, completely trapping them before they even knew what hit them.

Maroon soldiers covered themselves entirely from head to toe in leaves, branches, and vines to blend flawlessly into the jungle, striking like ghosts.

She used an African horn called an abeng to send secret, coded military signals echoing through the mountains, completely baffling and terrifying the British troops who couldn't track where the sounds were coming from.

Her forces successfully wore down the British military to the absolute breaking point. Unable to defeat her, the mighty British Empire was forced to swallow its pride and admit defeat.

In 1739, the British signed a formal peace treaty granting the Maroons total autonomy, freedom, and permanent ownership over their mountain lands Today, she is celebrated as Jamaica's only female National Hero⁉️

Your land or your life⁉️they gave him no option⁉️

Look at this comment left on one of our videos. A direct descendant of Almamy Bokar Biro Barry—the legendary final independent King of Futa Jallon (modern-day Guinea🇬🇳) is right here in our community!

In 1896, when the French colonial invaders handed him a treaty to sign away his people’s freedom.

The French were desperate to force Almamy Bokar Biro Barry to sign that "protectorate treaty" because it was the ultimate legal tool used during the European "Scramble for Africa”.

They didn't just want to conquer the land by brute military force; they wanted him to voluntarily sign away his sovereignty so they could use his own signature as a weapon against him and their European rivals.

He defiantly wrote "Bismillah" (In the name of God) on the signature line instead. He chose a brutal ex*****on over surrender. His family never forgot.

And because his bloodline is watching us right now, I am officially putting down everything else to animate the unfiltered, heroic story of Almamy Bokar Biro Barry next.

The first slave owner⁉️was black⁉️Don’t let anybody lie to you with this bs.. let me tell you the real story⁉️

Anthony Johnson was enslaved first. The man the internet refers to was named Anthony Johnson originally recorded as "Antonio a Negro".

He was kidnapped from Angola, brought to Virginia in 1621, and sold to a white English planter.

He was not the first slave owner; he was an enslaved person himself.

He gained his freedom in the early 1600s, the strict racial laws of American chattel slavery did not exist yet.

Laborers worked under "indentured servitude" contracts. After surviving an attack and working for years, Johnson managed to buy his freedom, acquire land, and hire his own servants.

However, in 1955, Johnson got into a legal dispute with a Black worker on his farm named John Casor. Casor argued his 7-year labor contract was over.

Johnson insisted Casor was his servant for life. The Virginia court sided with Johnson. And that’s how come white Europeans spin the story around to favor their treacherous deeds.
