The 𝟔𝐭𝐡 𝐄𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛𝐬’ 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 took place on 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟏𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, at Hôtel 2 Février in Lomé under the theme “𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞!” Over 11 schools from across Togo gathered to compete in four major categories: 𝐃𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐞, 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐮𝐞, 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐰, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬 𝐁 𝐉𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭, which encouraged students to research and solve real community problems using English. On 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, the 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲 𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 successfully concluded its 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 at the 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫, 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐨𝐦𝐞́, following three months of intensive training that began on 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟏𝟖. Initiated by Tossah Aime Oboube , the program aims to empower a new of Togolese youth in 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢p, 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐜 𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭.

Initially planned for 50 participants, the welcomed 60 motivated young people, who completed practical modules on 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬, 𝐜𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐜 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, and 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠. Each participant received a 𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 during a closing ceremony attended by notable figures such as 𝐀𝐛𝐝𝐨𝐮𝐥 𝐑𝐚𝐟𝐢𝐨𝐮 𝐋𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢 (Secretary General of GAAT), 𝐀𝐩𝐞́𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐞́ 𝐊𝐨𝐦𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐆𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐤𝐩𝐨 (Treasurer), and the program founder.

In his speech, 𝐎𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐞́ 𝐀𝐢𝐦𝐞́ 𝐓𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐡 expressed heartfelt appreciation to the 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 including 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢 𝐁𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐰𝐢𝐜𝐤, 𝐇𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐤𝐨𝐮 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧, 𝐀𝐛𝐝𝐨𝐮𝐥 𝐋𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢, and 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐖𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐧𝐢 for their generosity and professionalism. He also extended thanks to the 𝐔.𝐒. 𝐄𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐨𝐠𝐨, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐁𝐄́𝐆𝐄́𝐃𝐎𝐔 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐊𝐨𝐦𝐢, 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐄𝐤𝐨𝐮𝐞́𝐯𝐢, the 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫, 𝐍𝐄𝐆𝐁𝐋𝐄 𝐄𝐝𝐞𝐦 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐥, 𝐊𝐎𝐆𝐁𝐋𝐄 𝐊𝐨𝐝𝐣𝐨 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐣𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧 and 𝐕𝐮𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐥 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐞 for their media coverage support.

𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 will soon be offered for participants who wish to further develop their skills. The Academy des Leaders remains 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 aimed at promoting youth empowerment in Togo.

Le vendredi 20 juin 2025, l’𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐬 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 a organisé une session exceptionnelle à l'American Corner de l’Université de Lomé, en présence de 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢 𝐁𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐰𝐢𝐜𝐤, CEO de 𝐒𝐁 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐋𝐂 et auteure du à succès 𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕’𝒔 𝑺𝒑𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝑮𝒐𝒕 𝑻𝒐 𝑫𝒐 𝑾𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑰𝒕.

Devant plus de 60 étudiants et togolais, Shelli Brunswick a animé un atelier inspirant autour du thème “10 𝑳𝒊𝒇𝒆 𝑳𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑷𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑮𝒓𝒐𝒘𝒕𝒉”. Forte de ses 35 années d’expérience dans le secteur et de ses échanges avec plus de 200 leaders d’opinion internationaux, elle a partagé des puissantes sur le leadership transformationnel, la vision, la et la croissance personnelle.

Cette session s’inscrit dans le cadre de l’Academy des Leaders, un programme gratuit, intensif et pratique, porté par Tossah Aime Oboube et mis en œuvre par la Global Alumni Association of Togo (GAAT) et Patriotes Togo.
