The energy was electric at W Bangkok’s Great Room as the Bangkok Bar Show Awards 2025 set the stage for a night celebrating the artistry, creativity, and camaraderie that define Thailand’s cocktail culture. The country’s finest bartenders, bar teams, and industry pioneers gathered to toast another stellar year in mixology.

Leading the charge once again, Dry Wave Cocktail Studio proved unstoppable — clinching Best Bar in Bangkok (presented by Martell), Best Bar in Thailand (presented by Código 1530), and Bar Team of the Year (presented by Prakaan). Behind the bar, the ever-charismatic Supawit “Palm” Muttarattana continued his winning streak, being crowned Bartender of the Year (presented by Patrón), solidifying his status as one of Asia’s most respected figures in the craft.

This year’s competition saw a wave of innovation, with BAR US BKK, G.O.D., and O***m standing out for their daring concepts and distinctive creative identities. Wasteland earned the spotlight as Best New Bar, while F*nkytown took home Best Restaurant Bar for the second year running.

Regional talent also took center stage: Bar.San was named Best Bar in Chiang Mai (presented by Jameson), and The Fool Speakeasy Phuket claimed Best Bar in Phuket/Samui (presented by Havana Club). The Art of Hospitality Award went to BKK Social Club, while James Kosil Kamja of Lennon’s was recognized as Emerging Bartender of the Year — a name to watch in Thailand’s next generation of drink-makers.

Adding a new dimension to the celebration, the awards introduced the Best Wine Bar category, recognizing Mod Kaew Wine Bar for its refined approach to wine culture. The addition underscores Thailand’s growing appreciation for diverse drinking experiences — from avant-garde cocktails to meticulously curated wine lists.
