วันหยุดสุดสัปดาห์ น้องอ่วยอัน เด็กหญิงตัวน้อยเต็มไปด้วยรอยยิ้ม กำลังเล่นน้ำตกจำลองขนาดเล็กที่สร้างขึ้นข้างรีสอร์ทแห่งหนึ่งใน อ.หล่มเก่า จ.เพชรบูรณ์ เสียงน้ำไหลคลอไปกับเสียงหัวเราะสดใสของเด็กน้อย ทำให้บรรยากาศเต็มไปด้วยความสุขและความอบอุ่นของครอบครัว ภาพเรียบง่ายนี้สะท้อนความสุขเล็กๆ ที่ยิ่งใหญ่ในวันพักผ่อน

เสือโคร่งแอบจ้องข้างกระท่อมไม้ มีเพียงเสียงลมพัดแผ่วเบา ท่ามกลางความมืดเงาร่างใหญ่ลายพาดกลอนกำลังเคลื่อนตัวอย่างช้าๆ เสือโคร่งย่องเข้ามาใกล้กระท่อมไม้ของชาวบ้าน ดวงตาคมวาวสะท้อนกับแสงไฟริบหรี่จากตะเกียง ทุกย่างก้าวเต็มไปด้วยความระมัดระวัง ราวกับเฝ้ามองหาบางสิ่งหรือบางทีเพียงแค่สำรวจอาณาเขต ภาพนั้นเต็มไปด้วยทั้งความน่าเกรงขามและความลึกลับที่ทำให้หัวใจเต้นแรงในทันที
