“5 Tools For Beginner’s Sewing Kit” ✂️🧵

1) Fabric scissors

Function: Used for cutting fabric neatly, cleanly, and without fraying.

How to use: Hold it comfortably, keep the fabric taut, and cut slowly and precisely along the desired line.

2) Thread snips

Function: Used to trim excess threads after sewing, leaving a clean, neat, and fray-free finish.

How to use:
1. Hold it comfortably (usually by squeezing the handle).
2. Target only the thread you want to cut.
3. Cut close to the fabric, but be careful not to cut the fabric.
4. Release your hand after cutting the blades will spring back automatically.

3) Seam Ripper

Function: A seam ripper is used to remove stitches or cut threads.

How to use:
1. Insert the pointed tip under the stitch
2. Push gently to cut the thread.
3. Repeat along the seam to remove stitches.
4. Pull away the loose threads by hand.

4) Measuring Tape

Function: A measuring tape is used to measure fabric, length, width, and body size.

How to use:
1. Place the tape along the area you want to measure.
2. Keep the tape straight and not twisted.

Function: Used to measure fabric accurately and mark straight lines for cutting and sewing.

How to use:
1. Place the ruler flat on the fabric.
2. Align it with the edge or the measurement needed.
3. Hold it firmly to keep it from moving.
4. Mark or cut along the edge for straight, precise lines.
