คณะกรรมการกำกับกิจการพลังงาน หรือ กกพ. มีมติปรับลดค่าไฟงวดเดือนมกราคมถึงเมษายน 2569 ลงเหลือ 3.88 บาทต่อหน่วย หลังการไฟฟ้าฝ่ายผลิตแห่งประเทศไทย (กฟผ.) เสนออัตราค่าไฟใหม่ ตามแนวโน้มราคาก๊าซธรรมชาติที่บริษัท ปตท. คาดว่าจะลดลงในช่วงต้นปีหน้า

นายพูลพัฒน์ ลีสมบัติไพบูลย์ เลขาธิการสำนักงาน กกพ. ในฐานะโฆษก เปิดเผยว่า การประชุม กกพ. ครั้งที่ 44/2568 เมื่อวันที่ 26 พฤศจิกายน มีมติเห็นชอบให้กำหนดค่าไฟฟ้าโดยอัตโนมัติ หรือค่า Ft สำหรับงวด ม.ค.–เม.ย. 2569 อยู่ที่ 9.72 สตางค์ต่อหน่วย ทำให้ค่าไฟเฉลี่ยรวมอยู่ที่ 3.88 บาทต่อหน่วย

ก่อนหน้านี้ กฟผ. เคยเสนอค่าไฟ 3.94 บาทต่อหน่วย เพื่อคืนภาระต้นทุนคงค้าง (ค่า AF) จำนวนกว่า 6,141 ล้านบาท แต่ระหว่างการรับฟังความคิดเห็นประชาชน ปตท. ได้ปรับประมาณราคาก๊าซธรรมชาติและ LNG ลง โดยราคา LNG ลดจาก 12.5 ดอลลาร์สหรัฐต่อล้านบีทียู เหลือ 11.6 ดอลลาร์สหรัฐ ส่งผลให้ต้นทุนเชื้อเพลิงลดลงและทำให้ กฟผ. เสนอปรับอัตราค่าไฟเป็น 3.88 บาท/หน่วย

กกพ. ระบุว่า การพิจารณาครั้งนี้ใช้ข้อมูลประมาณการล่าสุดจากทั้ง กฟผ. และ ปตท. รวมถึงข้อเสนอปรับลดภาระค่า AF ของ กฟผ. เมื่อวันที่ 25 พฤศจิกายน 2568 เพื่อให้การกำกับดูแลยังคงรักษาสมดุลระหว่างเสถียรภาพระบบไฟฟ้า และภาระค่าใช้จ่ายของประชาชน พร้อมย้ำว่าจะติดตามสถานการณ์ราคาพลังงานและต้นทุนของ กฟผ. อย่างใกล้ชิดต่อไป

การปรับค่าไฟครั้งนี้ถือเป็นมาตรการที่ตอบโจทย์นโยบายรัฐบาลในการลดค่าครองชีพช่วงต้นปี โดยคาดว่าจะช่วยบรรเทาภาระค่าใช้จ่ายให้ประชาชนในช่วงที่ค่าครองชีพสูงขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง

Thailand’s Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) has approved a reduction in electricity tariffs for the upcoming billing cycle from January to April 2026, lowering the rate to 3.88 baht per unit. The decision follows a revised proposal from the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), which adjusted its calculations based on updated forecasts showing a decline in natural gas and LNG prices provided by PTT Public Company Limited.

Poonphat Leesombatpaiboon, Secretary-General of the ERC and its spokesperson, stated that at the ERC meeting on 26 November 2025, commissioners agreed to set the Fuel Adjustment Charge (Ft) for the next period at 9.72 satang per unit. This brings the total electricity tariff for January–April 2026 to 3.88 THB/unit, excluding VAT.

Earlier, EGAT had initially proposed a tariff of 3.94 baht per unit, which included a plan to recover 6.141 billion baht in outstanding accumulated fuel costs (AF). However, during the public hearing process, PTT revised its fuel price outlook downward — notably lowering its LNG price forecast from 12.5 USD per MMBtu to 11.6 USD per MMBtu. This led EGAT to submit a new, lower tariff proposal to help ease the government’s effort to reduce household cost burdens.

According to the ERC, the decision was made based on legal procedures and technical assessments, using the latest fuel cost estimates from EGAT and PTT, along with EGAT’s formal request to reduce AF burdens dated 25 November 2025. The regulator emphasized that the tariff adjustment balances power system stability with the need to mitigate rising energy expenses for consumers.

The ERC also affirmed that it will continue to closely monitor global fuel prices and EGAT’s outstanding cost structure to ensure future tariffs remain fair and aligned with actual market conditions.

กัมพูชาออกมาแถลงย้ำชัดถึงกรณีชายชาวจีนที่ได้รับบาดเจ็บจากการเหยียบทุ่นระเบิดบริเวณชายแดนไทย–กัมพูชา เมื่อวันที่ 29 พฤศจิกายนที่ผ่านมา โดยปฏิเสธข้อมูลบางส่วนที่ฝ่ายไทยรายงาน และยืนยันว่าเหตุการณ์นี้เป็นอุบัติเหตุจาก “ทุ่นระเบิดเก่าหลงเหลือจากสงคราม” ไม่ใช่สถานการณ์ความไม่สงบใหม่หรือการปะทะชายแดนตามที่มีการนำเสนอในบางสื่อ

รายงานจากสำนักข่าวเฟรชนิวส์และแขมร์ไทมส์ ซึ่งอ้างอิงข้อมูลจากกองทัพภูมิภาคที่ 5 ของกัมพูชา ระบุว่า เหตุเกิดขึ้นเวลาประมาณ 03.20 น. ใกล้หลักเขตแดนที่ 48–49 ในพื้นที่หมู่บ้านโจกเจ จังหวัดบันเตียเมียนเจย พื้นที่ดังกล่าวยังคงเป็นเขตเสี่ยงจากทุ่นระเบิดที่ตกค้างจำนวนมากตั้งแต่ยุคสงครามกลางเมือง ชายชาวจีนได้เหยียบทุ่นจนข้อเท้าซ้ายขาด กองกำลังกัมพูชาพยายามเข้าช่วยเหลือ แต่ต้องใช้เวลาทำเส้นทางปลอดภัยกว่า 200 เมตร ทำให้ทหารไทยที่อยู่ใกล้กว่าเข้าถึงตัวได้ก่อนและนำผู้บาดเจ็บออกจากพื้นที่

ขณะเดียวกัน กระทรวงมหาดไทยกัมพูชาให้ข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมว่า การตรวจฐานข้อมูลตรวจคนเข้าเมืองของประเทศ ไม่พบ ว่าชายจีนรายนี้เดินทางเข้ากัมพูชาในช่วงเวลาก่อนเกิดเหตุ ทำให้ทางการเชื่อว่า ชายคนดังกล่าว น่าจะพยายามข้ามแดนจากฝั่งไทยเข้าสู่กัมพูชา ไม่ใช่ข้ามมาจากกัมพูชาสู่ไทยตามที่บางรายงานในฝั่งไทยระบุ สอดคล้องกับจุดเกิดเหตุที่อยู่ห่างจากถนนลาดยางของไทยเพียง 100 เมตร แต่ไกลจากถนนฝั่งกัมพูชาถึง 210 เมตร อีกทั้งมีการพบเพียงเงินสดสกุลไทยในตัวชายชาวจีน ไม่พบเงินกัมพูชาแม้แต่บาทเดียว

นอกจากนี้ ทางการกัมพูชายังเปิดเผยว่า บริเวณดังกล่าวเป็นพื้นที่ที่เพิ่งได้รับการสำรวจร่วมระหว่าง ศูนย์ปฏิบัติการทุ่นระเบิดกัมพูชา (CMAC) และ ศูนย์ปฏิบัติการทุ่นระเบิดของไทย (TMAC) ภายใต้กรอบคณะทำงานประสานงานร่วม (JCTF) เมื่อวันที่ 7 พฤศจิกายนที่ผ่านมา ต่อเนื่องด้วยการหารือด้านเทคนิคเมื่อวันที่ 10 พฤศจิกายน เพื่อจัดทำแผนการเก็บกู้ทุ่นระเบิดในพื้นที่ชายแดน

อย่างไรก็ตาม ความร่วมมือดังกล่าวต้องหยุดลงทันทีหลังประเทศไทยประกาศระงับปฏิญญากัวลาลัมเปอร์ในวันเดียวกัน ทำให้กระบวนการจัดการกับทุ่นระเบิดคงค้างในพื้นที่เสี่ยงต้องชะงัก และเพิ่มความกังวลว่า เหตุลักษณะนี้อาจเกิดขึ้นซ้ำ หากไม่สามารถฟื้นความร่วมมือด้านเก็บกู้ทุ่นระเบิดระหว่างสองประเทศได้ในระยะเวลาอันใกล้นี้

กัมพูชาย้ำทิ้งท้ายว่า เหตุการณ์ครั้งนี้เป็น “อุบัติเหตุจากทุ่นระเบิดเก่า” ที่ยังหลงเหลืออยู่ ไม่เกี่ยวข้องกับความตึงเครียดใหม่หรือปฏิบัติการทางทหาร พร้อมขอให้สื่อมวลชนรายงานอย่างรอบคอบเพื่อไม่ให้เกิดความเข้าใจผิดระหว่างประชาชนของทั้งสองประเทศ

Cambodia has issued a firm clarification regarding the Chinese man injured after stepping on a landmine along the Thai–Cambodian border on November 29, rejecting several details reported by Thai authorities and stressing that the incident was caused by “an old landmine from past wars,” not a new outbreak of border tension or conflict.

According to reports by Fresh News and Khmer Times, citing Cambodia’s Regional Military Command 5, the explosion occurred at approximately 03:20 AM near border markers 48–49 in Chok Chey Village, Banteay Meanchey Province an area still classified as high-risk due to large numbers of unexploded landmines left over from the civil war era.

The Chinese man reportedly stepped on a mine, resulting in the loss of his left foot. Cambodian soldiers attempted to assist but had to clear more than 200 meters of safe path before approaching the site, allowing Thai troops stationed closer to reach the victim first.

The Cambodian Ministry of Interior added a crucial detail: the man’s name does not appear in Cambodia’s immigration database, suggesting he did not enter through legal channels. This has led Cambodian authorities to believe that the man was attempting to cross illegally from Thailand into Cambodia, contradicting earlier Thai reports that suggested he had come from the Cambodian side.

Evidence at the scene supports this view the blast site is located just 100 meters from the nearest Thai paved road, compared to approximately 210 meters from Cambodia’s road network. Additionally, the man was found carrying only Thai currency, with no Cambodian riel in his possession.

Cambodian officials further explained that the area had been jointly surveyed earlier this month by the Cambodian Mine Action Centre (CMAC) and the Thailand Mine Action Centre (TMAC) under the Joint Coordination Task Force (JCTF) on November 7, followed by a technical meeting on November 10 to develop a clearance plan for remaining landmines.

However, this cooperation was abruptly halted after Thailand announced the suspension of the Kuala Lumpur Declaration on the same day, forcing joint demining operations to cease immediately. Cambodia has expressed concern that without renewed cooperation, large stretches of dangerous minefields will remain uncleared increasing the risk of similar accidents.

In its final statement, Cambodia emphasized that this incident was “an accident caused by a leftover landmine from past conflict,” and not an indicator of rising border tensions. Cambodian authorities also urged media outlets to report accurately and responsibly to avoid misunderstanding between the people of both countries.

สถานการณ์การเมืองในภาคใต้เริ่มขยับอีกครั้ง หลังผลนิด้าโพลล่าสุดออกมาชี้ชัดว่า พรรคประชาธิปัตย์กลับมาครองใจคนใต้เป็นอันดับหนึ่ง ขณะที่ “อภิสิทธิ์ เวชชาชีวะ” อดีตนายกรัฐมนตรี กลายเป็นบุคคลที่ชาวใต้ให้คะแนนนิยมสูงที่สุด เมื่อถามถึงความเหมาะสมบนเก้าอี้ผู้นำรัฐบาล แม้กลุ่มที่ตอบว่า “ยังไม่มีใครเหมาะสม” จะยังมีสัดส่วนสูงอยู่ แต่ชื่อของอภิสิทธิ์ก็ทะยานขึ้นมาเป็นอันดับหนึ่งเหนือคู่แข่งอย่างอนุทิน ชาญวีรกูล

Political momentum in Southern Thailand is shifting once again after the latest NIDA Poll revealed that the Democrat Party has regained its lead in the region. While a significant portion of respondents still said “no one is suitable” for the position of prime minister, former PM Abhisit Vejjajiva emerged as the top individual choice among Southern voters surpassing Anutin Charnvirakul and other political figures.

Analysts note that this resurgence is not coincidental. Over the past months, Abhisit has noticeably increased his presence across the South, visiting communities, meeting local residents, and engaging with professional groups in provinces such as Phuket, Songkhla, Nakhon Si Thammarat, and Trang. His calm demeanor, articulate communication, and reputation for clean politics appear to be resonating once again with Southern voters who are looking for leadership that feels steady and trustworthy.

For the Democrat Party, Abhisit’s renewed visibility is seen as a strategic move to rebuild its long-standing base in the South a region that once formed the backbone of the party’s political strength. With many major cities like Hat Yai, Songkhla, and Surat Thani facing economic challenges and recovery from recent crises, expectations toward experienced political leadership have grown.

According to the NIDA Poll, the Democrats currently remain the most favored party in Southern Thailand, with Bhumjaithai and Move Forward trailing behind but still within competitive distance. Yet the highlight of the survey lies in personal trust, where Abhisit retains a clear advantage due to his image of integrity and past administrative experience as prime minister.

All of this points to a political landscape in the South that is becoming increasingly dynamic. The key question now is whether Abhisit’s continued engagement in the region combined with the Democrats strengthening their internal structure will be enough to restore the party to its former dominance. The months ahead will reveal whether this rising momentum can translate into real electoral gains.

Panika Wanich, known as “Chor,” reiterated political questions she previously raised regarding Narongporn Na Phatthalung “Mayor Paen” who currently serves as Mayor of Hat Yai Municipality. She noted that many members of the public continue to observe the situation closely, especially discussions surrounding his political alignment and perceived connections with Capt. Thammanat Prompao.

Panika emphasized that she is not making any accusations, but said the level of public conversation shows that transparency in local administration is increasingly expected. Clear explanations from the involved parties, she added, would help maintain public trust and reduce confusion.

The topic has drawn even more attention due to the timing of Narongporn’s appointment as mayor, which came during a critical transition for Hat Yai Municipality. The city has faced several long-standing challenges repeated flooding, infrastructure strain, and uneven public-resource allocation. As mayor, Narongporn became responsible for major decisions relating to budget management, procurement, public utilities, and community services during a period when the city required extensive rehabilitation and new investment.

Political observers point out that Hat Yai is a strategic urban center in southern Thailand, making its local leadership especially significant. Given the city’s ongoing struggles flood recovery, neighborhood-level economic pressure, and the demand for substantial public funding it is unsurprising that questions about “who influences decision-making behind the scenes” have become a point of public interest.

Panika concluded that her questions come from a concern for good governance, not from an intention to assert wrongdoing. She urged the government and all involved parties to prioritize transparency, provide open information, and ensure that residents of Hat Yai can have full confidence in their municipal administration moving forward.

“บิ๊กโจ๊ก” พล.ต.อ.สุรเชษฐ์ หักพาล อดีตรองผู้บัญชาการตำรวจแห่งชาติ ลงพื้นที่หาดใหญ่ จังหวัดสงขลา หลังเกิดอุทกภัยครั้งใหญ่ เพื่อช่วยเหลือประชาชนที่ได้รับผลกระทบ โดยผู้สื่อข่าวพบเจ้าตัวระหว่างลงพื้นที่รอบทะเลสาบสงขลา ซึ่งเป็นบ้านเกิดของตนเอง

พล.ต.อ.สุรเชษฐ์ เปิดเผยว่า การเดินทางมาในครั้งนี้เป็นภารกิจชั่วคราวเพื่อช่วยเหลือผู้ประสบภัย โดยช่วงเช้าได้วิ่งสำรวจสภาพพื้นที่ พร้อมจัดตั้งทีมผลิตข้าวกล่องวันละกว่า 2,000 กล่อง และเตรียมถุงยังชีพเพื่อกระจายให้ประชาชนในจุดที่ความช่วยเหลือเข้าไม่ถึง

สำหรับพื้นที่ “เขต 8” อำเภอหาดใหญ่ ซึ่งมีข่าวลือว่าเป็นพื้นที่อันตรายและเข้าถึงยาก พล.ต.อ.สุรเชษฐ์ยืนยันว่า จากประสบการณ์ที่เคยเป็นผู้กำกับ สภ.หาดใหญ่ พื้นที่ดังกล่าวไม่มีปัญหากลุ่มอิทธิพลหรือยาเสพติดตามที่มีการกล่าวอ้าง อาจมีกลุ่มวัยรุ่นในพื้นที่บ้างเท่านั้น พร้อมย้ำว่าจะลงพื้นที่เจาะลึกในวันนี้เพื่อให้ความช่วยเหลือเข้าถึงชาวบ้านที่ยังคงเดือดร้อน

พล.ต.อ.สุรเชษฐ์ยังเสนอให้รัฐบาลทบทวนมาตรการเยียวยา โดยมองว่าเงินช่วยเหลือครอบครัวละ 9,000 บาท และค่าชดเชยผู้เสียชีวิต 2 ล้านบาท อาจไม่เพียงพอกับความเสียหายที่เกิดขึ้น จึงเรียกร้องให้รัฐพิจารณาเพิ่มวงเงินเยียวยาให้เหมาะสมกับผลกระทบที่ประชาชนเผชิญ พร้อมระบุว่าอุทกภัยครั้งนี้รุนแรงและกระทบกว้างขวาง จึงจำเป็นต้องเร่งฟื้นฟูและให้ความช่วยเหลืออย่างเร่งด่วน

พล.ต.อ.สุรเชษฐ์ทิ้งท้ายว่า การช่วยเหลือประชาชนไม่ควรขึ้นอยู่กับพื้นที่หรือภูมิภาคใด แต่เป็นหน้าที่ของภาครัฐที่จะต้องเยียวยาและฟื้นฟูอย่างเต็มที่ในทุกพื้นที่ที่ได้รับผลกระทบ

Former Deputy National Police Chief Pol. Gen. Surachate Hakparn, widely known as “Big Joke,” has returned to his hometown in Hat Yai, Songkhla, to assist residents affected by the severe flooding. Reporters met him during a field survey around Songkhla Lake, where he emphasized that his visit was a temporary mission to support those still struggling in the aftermath of the disaster.

According to Pol. Gen. Surachate, he began the morning by running through the outer areas of the city to assess the situation firsthand. He also organized a team to prepare more than 2,000 boxed meals per day and arranged survival kits to distribute to vulnerable households particularly in areas where aid has been slow to reach.

Addressing concerns about “Zone 8” in Hat Yai, which has been rumored online as an unsafe and inaccessible area, Pol. Gen. Surachate clarified that based on his experience as a former superintendent of Hat Yai Police Station, there are no issues involving major criminal groups or drug-related networks hindering relief operations. He noted that only small groups of local youth may be present in the area and confirmed that he would personally travel deeper into Zone 8 today to ensure assistance reaches residents who remain isolated.

Pol. Gen. Surachate also expressed concern regarding preliminary information shared by volunteer responders and rescue foundations, who suggested that the number of fatalities from the flooding “may not fully align” with official figures released by authorities. He urged the government to provide transparent updates to maintain public confidence and ensure that all affected families receive proper support.

He further called on the government to review its compensation policy, arguing that the current rate of 9,000 baht per household for damage and 2 million baht for loss of life may not adequately reflect the scale of the disaster. He recommended that compensation be reconsidered and adjusted to match the severity of the impact on affected communities.

Pol. Gen. Surachate concluded by emphasizing that disaster relief should not depend on geographic location. He stressed that it is the responsibility of the government to adequately compensate and assist all regions hit by the flooding, ensuring timely recovery for every affected household.

กรมอุตุนิยมวิทยารายงานพยากรณ์อากาศ 24 ชั่วโมงข้างหน้า โดยประเทศไทยตอนบนยังคงมีอากาศเย็นถึงหนาวในช่วงเช้า ขณะเดียวกันอุณหภูมิจะเริ่มสูงขึ้น 1–4 องศา ตามอิทธิพลของมวลอากาศเย็นที่มีกำลังอ่อนลง ประชาชนจึงควรดูแลสุขภาพจากอากาศที่เปลี่ยนแปลง และเพิ่มความระมัดระวังต่ออัคคีภัยในช่วงอากาศแห้ง

The Meteorological Department has issued the 24-hour weather forecast, indicating that upper Thailand will remain cool to cold in the morning, with temperatures rising slightly by 1–4°C as the weakening high-pressure system continues to lose strength. Residents are advised to take care of their health during this period of changing weather and to be cautious of potential fire hazards due to dry conditions.

In the North and Northeast, morning fog is expected, with mountain tops experiencing cold to very cold conditions. Minimum temperatures range from 6–13°C, while low-lying areas will see morning lows between 11–20°C before warming up during the day.

The Central and Eastern regions will also experience cool mornings with light fog. Temperatures in these areas will increase slightly, making for comfortable daytime weather. In the eastern coastal areas, waves are expected to reach around 1 meter, and 1–2 meters farther offshore.

In the South, the northeast monsoon over the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea has weakened, resulting in decreased rainfall overall. However, the lower southern provinces — particularly Pattani, Yala, and Narathiwat — may still see isolated thunderstorms covering about 10% of the area. Sea conditions remain moderate, with waves 1–2 meters high and over 2 meters during thunderstorms, prompting authorities to urge caution for all marine vessels.

Bangkok and surrounding provinces will see cool morning conditions with light fog, with minimum temperatures between 19–21°C. Daytime temperatures are expected to rise slightly, reaching up to 31–33°C.

สถานการณ์หลังน้ำลดในเขตเทศบาลนครหาดใหญ่ยังคงน่าห่วง โดยวันนี้ที่ตลาดนิวกิมหยง แม้น้ำจะลดลงจนประชาชนเริ่มกลับมาจับจ่ายได้ แต่สิ่งที่ตามมาคือ กองขยะจำนวนมาก เศษซากสินค้า และกลิ่นเน่าเหม็น ที่ปกคลุมทั้งตลาด สร้างความเดือดร้อนให้กับผู้ค้าและผู้มาใช้บริการอย่างหนัก

พ่อค้าแม่ค้าหลายรายบอกว่า พวกเขาอยากเริ่มทำความสะอาดร้านและฟื้นฟูกิจการหลังประสบความเสียหายจากน้ำท่วม แต่กลับติดปัญหาที่ ยังไม่มีน้ำประปาใช้ ทำให้แม้จะมีแรง มีใจ แต่ไม่สามารถล้างร้านหรือขจัดคราบสกปรกได้ ขณะที่กองขยะที่ลอยมากับน้ำยังไม่ถูกจัดเก็บ ส่งผลให้เริ่มเกิดกลิ่นเน่ารุนแรง และกังวลว่าจะเกิดปัญหาด้านสุขอนามัยตามมา

บางร้านบอกว่า “น้ำลดแล้ว แต่ตลาดยังกลับมาไม่ได้” เนื่องจากขยะเน่าเสียเริ่มดึงดูดแมลงวันและสัตว์พาหะ สร้างความกลัวว่าจะเกิดโรคระบาดหลังน้ำท่วม นอกจากนี้ ชาวหาดใหญ่หลายคนยอมรับว่าเหนื่อยล้าทั้งกายและใจ เพราะแม้จะพยายามลุกขึ้นสู้ แต่สภาพพื้นที่ยังไม่เอื้อให้เริ่มต้นใหม่ได้จริง

ชาวบ้านและผู้ค้าต่างเรียกร้องให้ เทศบาลนครหาดใหญ่เร่งจัดเก็บขยะ และปล่อยน้ำประปาโดยเร็วที่สุด เพื่อให้ทุกคนสามารถร่วมมือกันทำความสะอาดตลาด ฟื้นฟูสภาพแวดล้อม และให้เศรษฐกิจในพื้นที่กลับมาขยับได้อีกครั้ง โดยชาวบ้านสะท้อนว่า “ตอนนี้ไม่ได้ต้องการอะไรมาก ขอแค่น้ำและพื้นที่สะอาด เพื่อจะได้เริ่มต้นชีวิตใหม่หลังน้ำท่วม”

Floodwaters may have receded in central Hat Yai, but the situation remains difficult especially at the New Kim Yong Market. Today, while residents have begun returning to shop, the area is overwhelmed by large piles of garbage, damaged goods, mud, and a strong foul odor, creating severe discomfort for both vendors and customers.

Many shop owners say they are eager to clean their stalls and restart their businesses after the heavy losses caused by the flooding. However, cleanup efforts have been stalled because running tap water has not yet been restored. Without water, vendors cannot wash their shops or remove mud and debris. At the same time, flood-borne garbage that washed into the market has not been collected, and some of it has already begun to rot raising serious concerns about sanitation and potential post-flood health risks.

Several vendors expressed frustration, noting that “the water may be gone, but the market still can’t come back.” Decomposing waste is attracting flies and stray animals, and many fear outbreaks of disease if the situation persists. Residents also say they are physically and emotionally exhausted, trying to rebuild while the surrounding environment remains unsafe and unhygienic.

The community is now urging Hat Yai Municipality to restore the tap-water system immediately and accelerate waste-removal efforts, so vendors and residents can work together to clean the market and revive local economic activity. Many expressed a simple wish: “We don’t need much just clean water and a clean place, so we can stand back up after the flood.”

สถานการณ์น้ำท่วมในจังหวัดปัตตานียังคงน่าเป็นห่วงอย่างต่อเนื่องจนถึงวันที่ 30 พฤศจิกายน เมื่อระดับน้ำในหลายพื้นที่ยังไม่คลี่คลาย เนื่องจากมวลน้ำจำนวนมากจากจังหวัดยะลายังคงไหลลงมาสมทบ ขณะเดียวกันยังมีผลกระทบจากน้ำทะเลหนุน ทำให้ระดับน้ำลดลงได้ช้า ส่งผลให้การท่วมขังครั้งนี้กินเวลายาวนานกว่าปกติและสร้างความเดือดร้อนให้ประชาชนในวงกว้าง

พื้นที่ริมแม่น้ำปัตตานี เช่น บ้านจางา และบ้านยือโมะ ตำบลปะกาฮารัง อำเภอเมืองปัตตานี ซึ่งมีสภาพเป็นแอ่งกระทะ ถูกน้ำท่วมสูงกว่า 2–3 เมตร ใกล้เคียงกับเหตุการณ์ที่อำเภอหาดใหญ่ เส้นทางภายในหมู่บ้านถูกน้ำท่วมจนมิดพื้นถนน บางจุดระดับน้ำสูงจนใกล้สายไฟฟ้า โรงเรียนหลายแห่งไม่สามารถใช้ชั้นล่างได้ ต้องย้ายไปสอนบนชั้นสอง ขณะที่บางครอบครัวต้องอพยพออกจากบ้าน เพราะน้ำท่วมถึงชั้นสองและไม่สามารถอยู่อาศัยได้

ขณะนี้พื้นที่ดังกล่าวสัญจรได้เพียงทางเรือเท่านั้น และกลายเป็นพื้นที่ที่ถูกน้ำท่วมยาวนานที่สุดในจังหวัด โดยท่วมต่อเนื่องกว่า 9 วันแล้ว คาดว่าต้องใช้เวลาอีกอย่างน้อยหนึ่งสัปดาห์กว่าน้ำจะลดระดับกลับสู่ภาวะปกติ

ชาวบ้านยังประสบปัญหาขาดแคลนน้ำดื่ม เนื่องจากระบบประปาไม่สามารถใช้งานได้ ทำให้ความเดือดร้อนเพิ่มขึ้น หลายคนรู้สึกน้อยใจเพราะในปีนี้ไม่ค่อยเห็นหน่วยงานอาสาหรือมูลนิธิเข้าพื้นที่เหมือนที่ผ่านมา แม้พื้นที่อื่น เช่น หาดใหญ่ น้ำจะลดลงแล้ว แต่พื้นที่ปะกาฮารังยังคงจมอยู่ใต้น้ำและรอความช่วยเหลืออย่างต่อเนื่อง

มีรายงานว่ากำนันในพื้นที่เริ่มเกิดความไม่พอใจ หลังนักข่าวลงพื้นที่เพื่อรายงานเหตุการณ์ โดยกล่าวตำหนิบนเรือว่า นักข่าวไม่สามารถช่วยเหลืออะไรได้ หากต้องการช่วยควรนำถุงยังชีพมาแทน สะท้อนถึงความกดดันของชาวบ้านที่ต้องเผชิญปัญหาขาดแคลนมาหลายวัน

ด้าน พล.ต.ต.สันทัศน์ เชื้อพุฒตาล ผู้บังคับการตำรวจภูธรจังหวัดปัตตานี พร้อมด้วย พ.ต.อ.เจฟฟรีย์ ไศลมานกุล ผู้กำกับการสถานีตำรวจภูธรเมืองปัตตานี และเจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจจำนวนหนึ่ง ได้ลงพื้นที่นำถุงยังชีพกว่า 100 ชุด ซึ่งประกอบด้วยมาม่า ข้าวสาร ปลากระป๋อง และอาหารแห้งอื่น ๆ ไปมอบให้ประชาชนเพื่อบรรเทาความเดือดร้อนเบื้องต้น แม้ความช่วยเหลือจะยังไม่ครอบคลุมทั้งหมด แต่ถือเป็นอีกความพยายามหนึ่งในการสนับสนุนประชาชนที่ได้รับผลกระทบหนักจากเหตุการณ์น้ำท่วมครั้งนี้

As of November 30, flooding in Pattani Province remains critical, with many areas still submerged under deep water. Large volumes of runoff from Yala continue to flow into the region, combined with high tides that slow water drainage, causing prolonged flooding and widespread hardship among residents.

Communities along the Pattani River notably Changa Village and Yumo Village in Pakaharang Subdistrict are facing some of the worst conditions. These areas resemble a natural basin, leading to water levels rising as high as 2–3 meters, similar to the severe flooding seen recently in Hat Yai. Roads inside the villages are completely underwater, with some areas experiencing water levels dangerously close to power lines. Several schools can no longer use their ground floors and have moved classes to upper levels. Many families have had to evacuate their homes as floodwaters reached the second floor, forcing them to seek shelter with relatives.

The affected areas are currently accessible only by boat and have been flooded for more than nine days the longest of any area in the province this year. Authorities estimate it may take at least another week before water levels recede to normal.

Residents are also facing a severe shortage of drinking water as the local water supply system has been rendered unusable. Many villagers expressed frustration, noting that unlike previous years, they have seen very few charity groups or volunteer organizations coming in to provide relief. Even though other locations such as Hat Yai have begun to recover, Pakaharang remains deeply flooded and in urgent need of support.

Tensions rose further when a local headman openly expressed dissatisfaction during a media visit, criticizing reporters for merely covering the story without bringing essential relief supplies, reflecting the growing desperation among residents.

In response, Pol. Maj. Gen. Suntat Chuephuttan, Commander of Pattani Provincial Police, along with Pol. Col. Jeffrey Saila-mankul, Superintendent of Pattani City Police Station, and several officers delivered more than 100 relief bags containing instant noodles, rice, canned fish, and snacks to affected families. The assistance, though limited, aims to ease immediate hardships as authorities continue efforts to help communities struggling through the prolonged flood crisis.

บริษัท คิงส์เกต คอนโซลิเดเต็ด ลิมิเต็ด ผู้ถือหุ้นใหญ่ของบมจ.อัครา รีซอร์สเซส ประกาศอย่างเป็นทางการบนเว็บไซต์เมื่อวันที่ 27 พฤศจิกายน 2568 ว่า ได้ยุติข้อพิพาทต่อรัฐบาลไทยเป็นที่เรียบร้อยแล้ว หลังจากดำเนินคดีต่อศาลอนุญาโตตุลาการภายใต้ความตกลงการค้าเสรีไทย–ออสเตรเลีย หรือ TAFTA ต่อเนื่องยาวนานกว่า 8 ปี นับตั้งแต่รัฐบาลไทยในยุคคณะรักษาความสงบแห่งชาติใช้อำนาจตามมาตรา 44 สั่งปิดเหมืองทองอัคราเมื่อปี 2560

คิงส์เกตระบุว่า การยุติข้อพิพาทครั้งนี้เป็น “ความยินยอมร่วมกัน” ระหว่างบริษัทและรัฐบาลไทย และถือเป็นก้าวสำคัญที่สะท้อนความสัมพันธ์เชิงบวกที่กำลังก่อรูปขึ้นใหม่ โดยบริษัทเห็นว่า การเจรจาที่ต่อเนื่องตลอดช่วงหลายปี ทำให้ทั้งสองฝ่ายสามารถกลับมาหารือเชิงความร่วมมือได้อีกครั้ง แม้ในช่วงแรก ไทยจะยังไม่พร้อมจ่ายค่าชดเชยใด ๆ ก็ตาม

บริษัทอธิบายเพิ่มเติมว่า การกลับมาดำเนินกิจการตั้งแต่เดือนมีนาคม 2566 ช่วยให้เหมืองอัคราสามารถผลิตทองคำได้แล้วกว่า 150,000 ออนซ์ และผลิตแร่เงินเพิ่มอีกเกือบ 1.5 ล้านออนซ์ ขณะเดียวกันผลการสำรวจโซน South East Complex ยังชี้ว่ามีโอกาสสูงที่จะพบแหล่งแร่ใหม่ ซึ่งบริษัทคาดว่าอาจมีศักยภาพไม่ต่ำกว่า 500,000 ออนซ์ และอาจเพิ่มขึ้นจากการขุดเจาะในอนาคต คาดการณ์ว่าจะยังมีศักยภาพในการผลิตต่อเนื่องอีก 9–10 ปี จากสัญญาเช่าทำเหมืองปัจจุบัน

ด้านนายอดิทัต วะสีนนท์ อธิบดีกรมอุตสาหกรรมพื้นฐานและการเหมืองแร่ เปิดเผยว่า ขณะนี้คิงส์เกตและรัฐบาลไทยได้ “ยุติข้อพิพาทร่วมกันแล้ว” เป็นผลมาจากความพยายามเจรจาอย่างต่อเนื่อง ซึ่งถือเป็นจุดเปลี่ยนสำคัญต่อทิศทางเหมืองอัครา การกำกับดูแล และผลกระทบต่อชุมชนในพื้นที่ในระยะยาว

การปิดฉากข้อพิพาทที่ยืดเยื้อกว่า 8 ปี จึงกลายเป็นสัญญาณที่ทั้งภาคธุรกิจและภาครัฐจับตามองว่าความร่วมมือนี้จะส่งผลอย่างไรต่ออุตสาหกรรมเหมืองแร่ไทยในอนาคต

Kingsgate Consolidated Limited, the parent company of Akara Resources Public Company Limited, officially announced on November 27, 2025, that it has reached a mutual agreement with the Thai government to end their long-running dispute under the Thailand–Australia Free Trade Agreement (TAFTA). The arbitration case had stretched for more than eight years following the 2017 order issued under Section 44 by Thailand’s former military government to shut down the Chatree gold mine due to alleged environmental and health impacts.

According to the company’s statement, the termination of the proceedings marks a significant milestone and reflects a renewed “friendly and cooperative relationship” between Kingsgate and the Royal Thai Government. Kingsgate emphasized that despite Thailand’s initial position of not being prepared to pay any compensation, continuous negotiations over the years eventually led both parties to realign their positions and reach a jointly accepted resolution.

The company highlighted the mine’s strong performance since resuming operations in March 2023, with more than 150,000 ounces of gold and nearly 1.5 million ounces of silver produced to date. Kingsgate also noted promising prospects from the South East Complex exploration zone, indicating a high likelihood of discovering new ore bodies, with an initial estimate of approximately 500,000 ounces of gold a figure expected to grow with further drilling. Under the current mining lease, the company forecasts continued production for another 9–10 years.

Kingsgate has been operating under TAFTA investment privileges since 1993. The major dispute began in 2017 when Thailand ordered the mine’s closure, citing cyanide leakage and associated impacts on nearby communities. Kingsgate filed for international arbitration immediately, and although deadlines for final rulings were set multiple times, the decisions were repeatedly postponed because both parties sought to continue negotiations.

Adithat Wasinno, Director-General of the Department of Primary Industries and Mines, confirmed that the dispute has now been formally resolved through mutual agreement, marking an important turning point for the mine’s future operations, regulatory oversight, and long-term community relations.

The closure of this eight-year conflict is now being watched closely by industry observers, who see the agreement as a potential indicator of future policy direction in Thailand’s mining sector.
