“เล็ก คาราบาว” เปิดใจคืนทรมานที่สุด บนเวทีไร้เงา “แอ๊ด คาราบาว” เผยอาการวิกฤต หมอสั่งหยุดด่วน

A deeply emotional message has resonated with Carabao fans nationwide after Lek Carabao, the band’s legendary guitarist, shared his personal reflections on performing a concert without Ad Carabao by his side.

In his post, Lek described the night as the most painful and emotionally exhausting experience of his musical career. He admitted that performing without the band’s central figure left him disoriented, with each minute on stage feeling unusually long. Normally, playing the guitar brings him a sense of calm and focus almost like meditation but that night, he could not keep his mind anchored to the music.

The absence of Ad Carabao was due to serious vocal health issues. Lek revealed that doctors had warned Ad to stop performing immediately, as continued strain could cause permanent damage to his vocal cords. Despite this, Ad had persisted out of concern for the band, even arranging for guest singers and limiting his own singing whenever possible.

Lek emphasized that regardless of how little Ad sang, his presence on stage embodied the spirit of Carabao something that cannot be replaced. This time, however, Ad had no choice but to follow medical advice and suspend all performances to receive treatment.

While the band could technically continue performing, Lek questioned whether it would still truly be “Carabao” without Ad. He also highlighted a reality often unseen by audiences: over the years, every band member has taken breaks due to illness or surgery, except for Ad, whose absence would mean the entire band must stop.

For Lek, performing while his friend was ill was already emotionally difficult. Facing the disappointment of fans and explanations from event organizers during the show only intensified the hardship of the night.

Ultimately, Lek viewed the experience as a powerful life lesson one that reminded him of the importance of speaking up and setting boundaries. He concluded with a gentle reflection that rest, family time, and proper recovery may be the most valuable gifts of all.

The issue of sexual harassment on social media remains in the spotlight today after Chuvit Kamolvisit posted a strongly worded message in response to comments made by Dome Pakorn Lam toward “Jinny” Yossuda Leelapanthayalert, the daughter of Sudarat Keyuraphan.

Chuvit expressed sympathy for Sudarat as a mother, noting that many mothers in society must protect their daughters from sexual harassment expressed through words and inappropriate behavior on social media. He emphasized that personal urges or emotions should never be directed sexually toward someone else’s child.

While Chuvit’s language was emotionally charged, his message raised a broader social question: where should the line be drawn between freedom of expression and responsibility, particularly when online comments cross into sexual harassment.

Earlier, Dome Pakorn Lam admitted that he was the person who posted the comment in question, stating that he was intoxicated at the time and unaware of the woman’s identity. He issued an apology, but the matter did not end there. The Thai Sang Thai Party has announced plans to pursue legal action, citing potential violations of the Computer Crime Act and sexual harassment laws.

Under Thai law, sexual harassment is no longer limited to physical contact. It also includes verbal expressions and online communication. If an action causes another person to feel humiliated, threatened, or sexually unsafe, it may constitute a criminal offense even if the perpetrator claims it was a joke, done while intoxicated, or without intent.

Today, sexual harassment has once again become a major public issue after Sudarat Keyuraphan, prime ministerial candidate of the Thai Sang Thai Party, posted a statement on Facebook expressing her firm stance as a mother in response to the sexual harassment faced by her daughter.

Sudarat stated that although her health is currently not at its best, she could not remain silent. What happened was not merely a political attack, but a violation of her daughter’s human dignity and the dignity of all women.

She explained that during her illness, her daughter had stepped forward to support the party and encourage the team with sincere intentions for the country and the organization. Yet, instead of appreciation, she was subjected to harassment that should never happen to anyone, regardless of gender.

Sudarat emphasized that such comments are not jokes or harmless teasing. They degrade human dignity, undermine gender equality, and may constitute violations of the law.

From a legal perspective, Thailand’s sexual harassment law no longer applies only to physical contact. It also covers verbal remarks, expressions, and communication through social media or online platforms. If an action causes another person to feel humiliated, fearful, distressed, or sexually unsafe, it may be considered an offense even if the perpetrator claims there was no intent.

Legal penalties range from fines and imprisonment in general cases to harsher punishment for repeated acts or actions committed publicly or online, reflecting Thailand’s growing commitment to protecting sexual dignity and safety.

Sudarat concluded by thanking the public for standing up for her daughter and stressed that this call for accountability is not only for “Jinny,” but to affirm a broader principle: sexual harassment in any form, against anyone, is unacceptable in Thai society, and perpetrators must be held accountable both socially and legally.

The question society now faces is whether sexual harassment will continue to be dismissed as trivial or whether we will collectively uphold the principle that no one’s human dignity should ever be violated.

กรณีนี้เกิดขึ้นหลัง โดม ปกรณ์ ลัม ออกมาอัดคลิปชี้แจง ยอมรับว่า เป็นผู้โพสต์ข้อความที่เข้าข่ายคุกคามทางเพศ “น้องจินนี่” ยศสุดา ลีลาปัญญาเลิศ บุตรสาวของคุณหญิงสุดารัตน์ เกยุราพันธุ์ โดยโดมระบุว่า ตอนแรกไม่ทราบว่าใครเป็นผู้โพสต์ จึงไล่ตรวจสอบไทม์ไลน์และสอบถามแอดมินเพจทั้ง 7 คน ก่อนจะพบว่า สุดท้ายแล้วเป็นตนเองที่โพสต์ข้อความดังกล่าว

โดมชี้แจงว่า ไม่รู้จักผู้หญิงในภาพ ไม่ทราบว่าเป็นใคร และยอมรับว่าในวันนั้นมีอาการมึนเมา ใช้ถ้อยคำไม่เหมาะสม ทั้งที่โดยปกติเป็นคนให้เกียรติผู้หญิง พร้อมยืนยันว่าไม่ได้มีเจตนาเกี่ยวข้องกับการเมือง และเตรียมติดต่อขอโทษคุณหญิงสุดารัตน์อีกครั้ง

ในมุมของสังคม หลายคนมองว่า การออกมาขอโทษและยอมรับผิด เป็นสิ่งที่ควรทำ แต่ในมุมของกฎหมาย คำถามสำคัญคือ เรื่องนี้จบลงเพียงเท่านั้นจริงหรือไม่ หรือยังต้องพิจารณาภายใต้กฎหมายคุกคามทางเพศฉบับใหม่

ตรงนี้ดิฉันขออธิบายให้ชัดนะคะว่า กฎหมายคุกคามทางเพศในปัจจุบัน ไม่ได้จำกัดอยู่แค่การแตะต้องร่างกายอีกต่อไป แต่ครอบคลุมถึงการพูด การแซว ท่าทางส่อไปในทางเพศ การจ้องมองหรือแทะโลม การตามรังควาน การส่งข้อความหรือภาพลามก รวมถึงการกระทำผ่านโซเชียลมีเดียหรือระบบคอมพิวเตอร์

หัวใจสำคัญที่สุดของกฎหมายฉบับนี้ คือ “ความรู้สึกของผู้ถูกกระทำ”
หากการกระทำนั้นทำให้อีกฝ่ายรู้สึกอับอาย หวาดกลัว เดือดร้อน หรือไม่ปลอดภัยทางเพศ แม้ผู้กระทำจะอ้างว่าไม่มีเจตนา หรือทำไปเพราะเมา ก็อาจเข้าข่ายความผิดได้

ในส่วนของบทลงโทษ กฎหมายกำหนดไว้ตั้งแต่โทษจำคุกไม่เกิน 1 ปี หรือปรับไม่เกิน 20,000 บาท สำหรับกรณีทั่วไป และเพิ่มโทษสูงขึ้น หากเป็นการกระทำซ้ำ ต่อเนื่อง หรือกระทำผ่านสื่อสาธารณะและโซเชียลมีเดีย ซึ่งอาจมีโทษจำคุกสูงสุดถึง 3 ปี หรือปรับไม่เกิน 60,000 บาท

คำถามที่สังคมต้องช่วยกันคิดต่อจากนี้คือ กรณีลักษณะนี้ เข้าข่ายความผิดตามกฎหมายคุกคามทางเพศหรือไม่ ต้องพิจารณาจากข้อเท็จจริงและพยานหลักฐานใด และใครเป็นผู้ชี้ขาดในกระบวนการยุติธรรม

และที่สำคัญไม่แพ้กัน คือ บทเรียนสำหรับผู้ใช้โซเชียลทุกคน วันนี้คำว่า “โพสต์แซว” หรือ “ไม่ได้ตั้งใจ” อาจไม่เพียงพออีกต่อไป หากการแสดงออกนั้นไปกระทบศักดิ์ศรีและความปลอดภัยทางเพศของผู้อื่น เพราะโลกออนไลน์ ไม่ได้อยู่นอกเหนือกฎหมาย และทุกการกดโพสต์ มีความรับผิดชอบตามมาเสมอ

Today, I would like to draw attention to a case that clearly shows how social media posts are no longer a trivial matter especially under Thailand’s newly enforced sexual harassment law.

The case involves Dome Pakorn Lam, who released a video admitting that he was the person who posted a comment deemed sexually harassing toward “Jinny,” Yossuda Leelapanthayalert, the daughter of Sudarat Keyuraphan. Dome explained that he initially believed the comment was posted by someone else and reviewed his page’s activity with his seven administrators, before realizing that he himself had made the post.

Dome stated that he did not know the woman in the photo, was unaware of her identity, and admitted that he had been intoxicated at the time, resulting in inappropriate language. He emphasized that he usually respects women, denied any political motive, and said he plans to formally apologize to Sudarat Keyuraphan.

From a social perspective, many believe that apologizing and taking responsibility is appropriate. However, from a legal standpoint, the key question remains: does the matter end with an apology, or must it still be examined under the new sexual harassment law?

It is important to understand that Thailand’s current sexual harassment law is not limited to physical contact. It also covers verbal remarks, sexual jokes or gestures, intrusive staring, stalking, sending obscene messages or images, and acts committed through social media or computer systems.

The most critical element of the law is the victim’s perception. If the action causes the other person to feel humiliated, fearful, distressed, or sexually unsafe, it may constitute an offense even if the perpetrator claims there was no intention or was under the influence of alcohol.

Penalties range from up to one year in prison or a fine of 20,000 baht for general cases, to harsher punishments for repeated acts or actions committed publicly or through social media, with possible prison terms of up to three years or fines of up to 60,000 baht.

The question society must now consider is whether this case meets the legal criteria for sexual harassment, how the facts will be assessed, and who ultimately decides the outcome within the justice system.

Most importantly, this case serves as a warning to all social media users. คำถามที่ดิฉันอยากชวนคิดก็คือ ข้อหาทั้งหมดนี้ ไม่ใช่เรื่องใหม่เลย แต่เป็นพฤติกรรมที่เรายังเห็นซ้ำแล้วซ้ำอีกทุกปี และทุกครั้งที่เกิดอุบัติเหตุ ก็มีทั้งคนบาดเจ็บ คนพิการ และคนที่ไม่ได้กลับบ้าน

ตำรวจย้ำว่า การกวดขันครั้งนี้ ไม่ได้มีเป้าหมายเพื่อจับปรับอย่างเดียว แต่เพื่อป้องกันไม่ให้เกิดความสูญเสีย โดยเฉพาะในช่วงเทศกาลที่ควรเป็นเวลาของความสุขและการกลับไปหาครอบครัว

สุดท้ายนี้ อยากฝากเตือนกันตรงไปตรงมานะคะว่า ต่อให้ไม่มีด่าน ไม่มีตำรวจ การไม่เมาแล้วขับ การไม่ใช้โทรศัพท์ขณะขับรถ การคาดเข็มขัด และการสวมหมวกกันน็อก คือการปกป้องชีวิตของตัวเราเอง เพราะบนท้องถนน ความประมาทเพียงเสี้ยววินาที อาจเปลี่ยนเทศกาลปีใหม่ ให้กลายเป็นความสูญเสียไปตลอดชีวิต

Today officially marks the start of Thailand’s intensified traffic enforcement during the New Year holiday period, commonly known as the “Seven Dangerous Days,” with police emphasizing strict law enforcement to reduce road accidents and casualties.

Police Lieutenant General Yingyos Thepjamnong, spokesperson for the Royal Thai Police, stated that today is the first day of the nationwide crackdown. Under the directives of the National Police Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner, traffic discipline will be strictly enforced across the country throughout the holiday period.

This year, police are focusing on ten major traffic offenses identified as the leading causes of road accidents. These include drunk driving, speeding, running red lights, unsafe overtaking, driving against traffic, failing to carry a valid driver’s license, not wearing seat belts, not wearing helmets, unsafe motorcycle use, and using mobile phones while driving.

The key question remains one that surfaces every year: these offenses are not new, yet they continue to occur repeatedly. And each accident brings injuries, disabilities, and lives lost often during a season meant for family reunions and celebration.

Police stress that the purpose of this enforcement is not merely to issue fines, but to prevent loss of life and serious injuries on the roads.

Ultimately, road safety does not depend solely on police checkpoints. Choosing not to drink and drive, avoiding phone use while driving, wearing seat belts, and wearing helmets are decisions that protect lives because a single moment of carelessness can turn a New Year celebration into a lifelong tragedy.

วันนี้ ไอซ์–รักชนก ศรีนอก ผู้สมัครสมาชิกสภาผู้แทนราษฎร ออกมาโพสต์ข้อความผ่านโซเชียลมีเดีย พร้อมภาพตัวอย่างคอมเมนต์ที่เธอระบุว่า เป็นสิ่งที่ต้องเผชิญอยู่แทบทุกวัน ตั้งแต่ก้าวเข้าสู่เส้นทางการเมือง ไม่ว่าจะเป็นการด่าทอ ดูหมิ่น เหยียดหยาม ไปจนถึงการใส่ร้ายป้ายสีอย่างรุนแรง

Today, Rukchanok Srinok, also known as “Ice,” a parliamentary candidate, posted a message on social media sharing the abuse she says she faces almost daily since entering politics.

In her post, she described being subjected to insults, humiliation, and defamatory accusations, including attacks on her background, false claims about her personal life, digitally manipulated images, AI-generated explicit content, fabricated news, sexual harassment, threats, and even physical assault. Recently, the attacks extended to accusations against her parents, prompting her to question how anyone could justify targeting another person’s family in such a degrading manner.

Ice raised broader concerns about social behavior, questioning why groups that claim loyalty to revered institutions choose to employ dehumanizing tactics against political opponents. While she emphasized that political criticism is legitimate, she argued that dragging family members into attacks crosses a fundamental line.

She reaffirmed her long-standing support for freedom of expression but stated that the actions she described fall under hate speech rather than constructive debate. She questioned why those claiming moral superiority fail to engage through logic and reason instead of personal degradation.

Ice addressed three groups in her message. First, she spoke directly to the leadership of the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA), acknowledging its political neutrality and respect for free expression, while questioning its stance on behavior that undermines human dignity and exploits personal trauma for demeaning purposes.

Second, she addressed NIDA alumni and current students, stating her respect for diverse political views but asking how society should respond when individuals affiliated with a respected institution display attitudes that appear to tolerate hate speech and dehumanization.

Finally, she spoke to people who, like herself, were “born into hardship.” She stressed that no one chooses their birth circumstances and that many grow up amid social problems and violence through no fault of their own. What people can choose, she argued, is the kind of society they pass on to the next generation.

She concluded by offering encouragement to those with similar life experiences, emphasizing a central message: while no one can choose how they are born, everyone can choose what kind of values and society they help create and whether they become part of the solution or part of the problem.

วันนี้ สถาบันบัณฑิตพัฒนบริหารศาสตร์ หรือ “นิด้า” ออกแถลงการณ์ชี้แจงอย่างเป็นทางการ หลังเกิดกระแสวิพากษ์วิจารณ์ในสังคม จากกรณีการแสดงความคิดเห็นต่อสาธารณะของอาจารย์ประจำสถาบัน ซึ่งเชื่อมโยงไปถึงนักการเมืองหญิงที่กำลังลงสมัครรับเลือกตั้ง

Today, the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) issued an official statement following public controversy surrounding comments made by one of its lecturers, which sparked widespread debate involving a political candidate.

The issue began when Associate Professor Dr. Anon Sakviroon published a social media post discussing the background of a particular individual’s family. This prompted a response from Rukchanok Srinok, also known as “Ice,” a party-list parliamentary candidate from the People’s Party, who questioned the appropriateness of digging into her family’s personal history. The exchange triggered extensive public discussion online.

In response, NIDA stated that it has acknowledged public concerns and reaffirmed its institutional mission to provide education and academic services grounded in knowledge, ethics, and responsibility to society and the nation.
