𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱: 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 🛰️🌏

🔸 On 11 September 2025, Thailand’s Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (GISTDA) and the Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC), University of Twente, signed their third Memorandum of Understanding (MoU; 2025–2030).

🔸 This renewed partnership builds on more than a decade of collaboration since 2013, which has included training programs, student and researcher exchanges, and joint projects on disaster risk management, flood forecasting, and the application of geo-informatics and space technology.

🔸 With the new MoU, GISTDA and ITC reaffirm their shared commitment to advancing innovation, strengthening human capacity, and developing solutions that support sustainable development and resilience in Thailand, the Netherlands, and beyond.

🔸 The signing ceremony was held in a hybrid format, with Dr. Pakorn Apaphant, Director of GISTDA, and Prof. Dr. F. D. van der Meer, Dean of ITC, as signatories. His Excellency Remco van Wijngaarden, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Thailand, and H.E. Asi Mamanee, Ambassador of Thailand to the Netherlands, and Gijs Theunissen, Agricultural Counsellor witnessed the ceremony.

🤝 Together, we continue to explore how geospatial technology can contribute to tackling today’s global challenges and to building a more sustainable future.

🌍 European Tourism: Between Values and Competitiveness at the Bled Strategic Forum

With more than half of all international arrivals, Europe remains the central pillar of global tourism. Yet this leadership can no longer be taken for granted. Climate change, geopolitical tensions, economic stagnation, rapid digital and green transformations, and workforce challenges are reshaping the industry.

At the 20th Bled Strategic Forum, the Tourism Panel brought together distinguished speakers to address a crucial question:

👉 How can Europe remain globally competitive while preserving the values that define its tourism identity?

Sustainability, safety, quality of life, hospitality, and cultural diversity are not obstacles, but the very foundation of Europe’s long-term competitiveness. This was the unanimous conclusion of the panel discussion, which highlighted that values remain Europe’s greatest competitive advantage in an era of global change.

Ambassador Nagesh Singh jointly inaugurated the pavilion of the state of Kerala with Shri P A Mohamed Riyas, Minister of Tourism of Kerala, at PATA Travel Mart 2025 in Bangkok. He also visited pavilions of UP and Telangana and interacted with the participating tourism stakeholders.
PTM, a prominent event that connects diverse group of stakeholders from tourism economy, is witnessing an encouraging participation of Indian travel and tourism industry this year, which is being celebrated as ASEAN-India Year of Tourism.
เอกอัครราชทูต Nagesh Singh เป็นประธานเปิดพาวิลเลี่ยนรัฐเกรละร่วมกับนาย พี เอ โมฮัมเหม็ด ริยาส รัฐมนตรีว่าการการท่องเที่ยวประจำรัฐเกรละ ในงาน PATA Travel Mart 2025 ที่กรุงเทพฯ นอกจากนี้ท่านยังได้เยี่ยมชมพาวิลเลี่ยนของรัฐอุตตรประเทศและเตลังคานา และพบปะพูดคุยกับผู้แทนภาคอุตสาหกรรมการท่องเที่ยวที่เข้าร่วมงาน
งาน PTM ซึ่งถือเป็นงานสำคัญที่เชื่อมโยงกลุ่มต่างๆ จากเศรษฐกิจการท่องเที่ยว ได้รับการตอบรับอย่างดีและการเข้าร่วมจากอุตสาหกรรมการท่องเที่ยวและการเดินทางของอินเดียในปีนี้ ซึ่งเฉลิมฉลองให้เป็นปีแห่งการท่องเที่ยวอาเซียน-อินเดีย

The Executive Board of the Population and Community Development Association (PDA) warmly welcomed H.E. Mr. Francisco Tilman Cepeda, Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste to Thailand, at the Captain Condom Bar, Cabbages & Condoms Restaurant, Sukhumvit 12, Bangkok.
During the visit, PDA executives presented the Association’s missions and development initiatives, highlighting its long-standing commitment to community development and social progress. The meeting also provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives with the Ambassador on strategies for sustainable development and potential avenues of cooperation between Thailand and Timor-Leste.
This engagement reflects PDA’s dedication to fostering international collaboration and knowledge sharing in the field of population and community development.

🎉 58 ปี อาเซียน | ASEAN DAY
Towards an Inclusive & Sustainable ASEAN Future

เมื่อวันที่ 8 สิงหาคม พ.ศ. 2510 อาเซียนได้ก่อตั้งขึ้นที่กรุงเทพมหานคร โดย 5 ประเทศผู้ก่อตั้ง ได้แก่

🇮🇩 อินโดนีเซีย
🇲🇾 มาเลเซีย
🇵🇭 ฟิลิปปินส์
🇸🇬 สิงคโปร์

โดยมีเป้าหมายร่วมกันในการส่งเสริมสันติภาพ ความร่วมมือ และการพัฒนาร่วมกันในภูมิภาค

วันนี้ อาเซียนเดินหน้าสู่ปีที่ 58 ด้วยความมุ่งมั่นสู่อนาคตที่ ครอบคลุมและยั่งยืน เพื่อประโยชน์ของประชาชนทุกชาติสมาชิก
