Make Your Crown Supreme is a regional campaign for Head & Shoulders Supreme, a premium anti-dandruff regimen aimed at elevating the beauty credentials of the world's number one shampoo brand.
The lead communication is this film made for web and TV. So far, the campaign has been well-received in Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore.
This was one of many regional films shot by Rupert England of Goldigga on a stint as executive creative director on Head & Shoulders at Publicis One Singapore in 2019.
"The production became my pet project as I saw it is an opportunity to further push the creative boundaries of a brand that I have been working on as a consultant for six years now."
While the film is a homage to ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response), it was never intended to be hyper-real.
"The treatment is designed to make consumers perceive Heads & Shoulders as a shampoo that can deliver hair like never before – lusciously thick AND dandruff-free."
England adds:
"It took a lot of work to get the film to its broadcast state. The hair pre-production was the most complex I have ever been involved in. I am proud of the end result and must make mention of my two amazing collaborators on this film: my creative partner Achita Techavanvekin and the film director Sara Marandiny."
