✅ The Deployment Automation Engineer will support a migration program to move applications from current deployment to fully automated deployment. The role focuses on converting existing deployment steps into CI/CD pipelines, maintaining workflows, and ensuring smooth and reliable releases across environments.
✅ Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps) to automate building, testing, and deploying applications.
✅ Configure and manage GitHub repository settings, environments, secrets, and protection rules required for automation.
✅ Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, Python) used within GitHub Actions jobs.
✅ Assist in setting up and managing runners (hosted or self hosted) for executing workflows.
✅ Participate in testing and validation of new pipelines to ensure parity with existing deployments.
✅ Implement monitoring for deployment pipelines to detect failures early and troubleshoot integration issues during the migration phase.
